So I'll focus on a last idea vert important and reiterated in Brazilian rap: Fecha a cara e vai, carai Robin Hood desse reino porque humilde o rei num vai virar "Fuck, put your game face on and go! I'll be this kingdom's Robin Hood beacause the king will never be humble." There's this idea goes back to an Emicida line on his first single (Triunfo) that says "Já que o rei não vai virar humilde, eu vou fazer o humilde virar rei" (If the King won't be humble, I'll make one of the humble ones become a King). Humble and poor are synonyms here. A king won't be humble (nor poor) so I'll make a poor (and humble) a King. Emicida kinda revolutionized brazilian rap in the late 2010's and his ideas became popular material to brazilian hip hop's culture. So this whole verse is something of a warning from an OG directed to the flashy and cocky MCs and new rap fans that are too into rap as this new mainstream TMZ-like media without a message - this, again, cuz Poetas no Topo is consumed mainly by these kids (a lot of them white and rich) that are just into the hype, the aesthetics and nothing else.

Choice quis se tornar trapstar...se perdeu, teve o problema com a azzy... acredito que a maconha também deixou ele em uma vibe mais relaxado. Não dá pra ser revoltado pra sempre. Hoje voltou a ser parecido com o que era antes de ser respeitado, zoado e ignorado nas batalhas, sons com poucas views e a dois anos sem fazer shows, fez um especial no rock in Rio recentemente, mas acho que não fez depois.

This whole verse is a critique for the hyper valorization of hype in brazilian rap (that came in recent years with projects such as Poetas no topo), of these rappers behaving like hollywood stars and forgetting the cuture, it's classics and it's values. That's why is so important tha Síntese sings verses like these in this kinda space.
I could to the whole verse, but he repeats some ideas. So I'll focus on a last idea vert important and reiterated in Brazilian rap:
Fecha a cara e vai, carai
Robin Hood desse reino porque humilde o rei num vai virar
"Fuck, put your game face on and go!
I'll be this kingdom's Robin Hood beacause the king will never be humble."
There's this idea goes back to an Emicida line on his first single (Triunfo) that says "Já que o rei não vai virar humilde, eu vou fazer o humilde virar rei" (If the King won't be humble, I'll make one of the humble ones become a King). Humble and poor are synonyms here. A king won't be humble (nor poor) so I'll make a poor (and humble) a King. Emicida kinda revolutionized brazilian rap in the late 2010's and his ideas became popular material to brazilian hip hop's culture.
So this whole verse is something of a warning from an OG directed to the flashy and cocky MCs and new rap fans that are too into rap as this new mainstream TMZ-like media without a message - this, again, cuz Poetas no Topo is consumed mainly by these kids (a lot of them white and rich) that are just into the hype, the aesthetics and nothing else.

That part of Sintese's verse when he says about the Valley and stuff: He's from a city called São José dos Campos, the region of the city is a valley (when we are from São José or the cities around we say we are from the valley) where you can see the mountains anywhere in the city, and it's one of the regions of brazil with the most cases of aliens appearances.

20:20 I think this is the best part, Choice goes back and forth with the keywords, goes with: Pride of the Father, bright eyes, shyny (Diamonds), finger on the trigger, then comes back with the same words in reverse order. This is dope.
O rapper entitulado Síntese é o Neto, do grupo Síntese. De todo o rap nacional eles tem as letras mais profundas, na minha opinião. Um ótimo react seria "MMXX", "Lei dos Céus" ou qualquer faixa de "Trilha para o Desencanto da Ilusão, Vol. 1". Simplesmente foda o react, como de costume!
