Though I have watched the same routine Eric performed in various occassions on TH-cam, this time around it was still stunning and sleeker than ever! Wish him the best in this talent competition.

Will never tire of watching this routine , some moves are known but the precision and timing is amazing
i see some of his trick he does on u-tube WOW , but when he performs on stage he dont seem that good

Ikr, she is so adorable, her smile is contagious.
she's G.E.M. a singer songwriter from hong kong. her singing skills are out of this world. trust me, you will be blown away by her voice no matter how many times you heard it already. she also writes really meaningful and inspirational lyrics, and also composes her own songs. i STRONGLY recommend you check her out, you wont regret it.

不知道是不是CGT有时间限制所以改了流程，我觉得这个节目就是FISM上最完整的流程是最好的，寓言故事般的结尾，比这个头重脚轻的结尾好太多。

Well, reading the comments I will just admint I'm satisfied enough with 1 trick pony though I know the tricks, I don't think I'm able to execute it. XD
But I do understand that if Eric wants to go further, he needs to have many tricks that not yet exposed. But if we are not the magician, talking is much easier than executed.
This performance has brought Eric from backstage to perform magic on stage, so he value his own original routine. He may or can do other magic tricks but will always been compared by other magicians who bring it first, or even other fellow magicians.
Sometimes we don't even sure which is the pioneer since magicians have been long in our society, and the magic keep evolving as their exposure.
There is a reason why people like to watch a magic show despite knowing the tricks or not. So as long as it can still blow my mind, I will just enjoy the performance~

He changed the ending, in the original, the magician was punished and lost his magic due to greed, in this Chinese (censored?) version, however, the magician turned coins into candy and everyone was happy, the act ended abruptly and I was left confused.

G.E.M. shes a singer songwriter from hong kong. she is known for her unique voice and songwriting abilities. her singing is absolutely out of this world, and all the lyrics in her songs are really meaningful if you understand them. i really really recommend you check her out, shes an absolutely inspirational artist and sings really, really well.
Anyone ever ask them where they learn this magic? Was it self taught or someone taught them this. If self taught, their iq must be pretty high to have figured it out
The storyline seen in AGT (as new experimental discoveries are coming up, Eric is becoming confused, amazed, greedy and disappointed/regretful) is completely lost. Instead, catering to Chinese audiences (loudness and festivity much preferred) is the theme of the show.

He is always good in his magic but in the finals his tricks are not that marvelous that is why he always lost except in in asia got talent

Already performed at Asian Got Talent before America Got Talent. 😑 That was 1 big reason why he get booted out of America Got Talent.
What is the use of keep joining different Got Talent franchise but performing the same old recycled trick that some magician already exposed the trick on YT.

@@allenchua823 Magic is not just about tricks, it's also about execution. Most people have seen the masked magician videos where he reveals magicians' secrets, yet every year magicians improve on their execution and people are still amazed. Even if some people know Eric's tricks, 99.9% of people won't be able to execute his routine as smooth as he does. Even professional magicians admit this routine is flawless.
@@sf108 what you talking about??? magic is about execution of trick. If he had already perfected the execution of this trick.. He should go on into another trick than to show off again and again on different got talent franchise where the world can easily get access to with internet and YT. Right?
