Being a single 4 stroke with one carb I would assume it must get pretty decent mileage too when ridden moderately. I find the simple pushrod single very appealing. I grew up with Japanese bikes and most all have OHC's. I do own a 1965 CT200 Trail 90 (the first generation Trail 90) and it is pushrod with cast iron head and cylinder. Also own a 1982 Honda GL500 Silverwing. Very interesting engine with liquid cooling, hemi heads, 4 valves per cylinder and amazingly -pushrods.

Dave, how fast does a Motobi 250 go and were these ever imported to the US?

Hi ironcast, these bikes were also badged as Benellis, the model being a 250 Super Sport or possibly a Barracuda capable of 80-85 mph on a good day?
