Beautiful footage at the start, gorgeous. When you make pancakes, don't have the heat so high, you need a hot pan but not searing hot. Also butter over oil, makes them nice and golden and adds flavour.
Love it you can smile and laugh of silly stuff that would wind a lot of people up. Loved your friendly Robin, I feed one in my garden. Keep up the great and inspiring videos. You keep me smiling,thank you.
When you flip push the pan foward (away from you) and when the pancake starts to slide over the edge then flick your wrist backwards (towards you) to get it flipping up and out of the pan and then pull the pan back a little so it falls back in to the pan. The tricky part is doing that all in one motion. It takes practice and works much better with omelets. Love your content and be safe. 🥰😘❤

That would be a nice video. How you would survive when exposed to the elements when you are caught unaware out in the open. I have many a time got drenched, lightening storms, frost etc. Absolutely freezing at times and others where I didn't even know it had been snowing or raining. It's just finding that solution which I think you do really well. It's that spiritual side of it all that I love the best. 💪👍🙏❤
Morning Claire, loverly video as always :) Not sure if you watch Master Chef 22/11/20 @20mins is the master class for making crepes/ pancakes. He's not as adventurous as you he just turns them over with his fingers:) Also I premix all the dry ingredients in a ziplock bag then add the egg and milk at camp and massage the batter in the bag to save on weigh. Hopefully you are in Tier 2 so you can go out and play whilst us Tier 3 people just watch with envy :)

@@WildBeare I grew up in the blackdown hills, Somerset myself, so had the out doors built in to me lol im in the same sort of position as u these days thou, so I know how hard it can b getting the time to do this sort of thing, let alone having to work, make a TH-cam and organise everything haha thats why when I go out, its for myself nowadays, no tech, no kids, just me and as little as possible lol Hats off to u :)

Those Robins are incredibly territorial ,great vid again .Love the drone pics they really add to the atmosphere of your film . Please mind your hair in your stove I used to work in a burns unit and I’ve seen a few badly burnt heads on ladies who’ve inadvertently dipped their hair in the flames.Sorry to be a fuss pot .

I'm a recent subscriber. I'm not a wild camper (at the moment) more a casual rambler, but watching wild camping videos is my escapism from what's going on all around us. You videos in particlular with great and no doubt carefully chosen music and drone footage is an absolute tonic. When we get back to some normaility I am really tempted to give it a try. I'll keep it my secret for now as if I tell my wife and family they will ridicule me something shocking :) midlife crisis comment will be muted I'm sure. When I own up to it I'll just say 'have you never heard of a bucket list?'. So for now its our our secret 🤐😁. Keep up the good work as and when its allowed.
A 'Fogbow' wow......don't get to see these where I'm from, yet another reason to tramp about on a quite foggy morning, and the drone shots really worked well to give an added perspective. First pancake is always sacrificed.....but especially with those burners it's good to lower the heat a little and wait a little longer to ensure the pan has even temp. On short trips I take most of the dry ingredients premixed in an oversized zip lock bag and add the wet ingredients to that, to mix .... but never thought to use those flexible bags for oil always used nalgene (well, not any more!).
