Mr CJay Ruffin now if they would have listened to the first song all the way through they would have heard that whole thing and then know that it was the first track. I'm sleep 😴
TdotHoops DUUUDE WHEN I SAW THEIR REACTION TO THE GUNSHOT THEN THE REVERSE OF THE ENTIRE ALBUM AND HEARD SO I WAS TAKING A THE OTHER NIGHT" I WAS GRABBING MY HEART SHIT GOT ME HARD NIGGA KENDRICK FUCKED MY MIND UP THE WAY THIS ALBUM ENDED SHOULD ONLY MEANS ANOTHER ALBUM IS COMING SOON.
Since you guys looked confused at the end.. Anthony "Top Dawg" is the Boy grown to man he is talking about, and Ducky is Kendricks father. So if Ducky didn't build a friendship with Anthony "Top Dawg" then he probably would've shot Ducky like they did the last store owner, Anthony could have possibly gotten life in prison for that and would have not founded TDE. Kendrick now fatherless wouldn't have had a father figure to keep him out of violent/ gang trouble, and most likely would have died in a gun fight as he would've fully fell into the hands of the streets. Although events culminated where Anthony and Ducky remained friends, Anthony "Top Dawg" found a way out of the streets without compromising his pride, credibility, and personality by creating TDE music label, and Kendrick Lamar signed to that label at the age of 15, and well you know the rest because this is before they were famous.....and it's been Michael McCru-.....
You should see Mallory bro’s they be dissecting songs down to a science that I don’t even think the actual artists think about and it still has you like “oh crap”
I feel like he died in the beginning and the whole album is him reflecting on life until the end track. The album reverses and he returns back to before the incident with the blind woman. The whole album is about actions and consequences with tons of religious references. So, I think the reverse represents karma and living the same life over and over again until you get it right. It stops before he mentions the blind woman, because this is chance to get it right. We are essentially witnessing a man in purgatory.
the album is Kendrick being honest with us about him being a complete contradiction. is he/humans inherently wicked, giving in to vices, or is he simply weak. ultimately he says being a 100% humble/kind/loving person is impossible. the album falls in line with his earlier concept of Lucy. Lucy is the blind lady that kills him in BLOOD
also, Lucy pimped him (butterfly) by using the ideas of money and fame. DAMN is beautifully tragic. He finally understands and attempts to live with the idea that humans are not all good and not all evil. but we are both. the album is deeply spiritual. don't disrespect his honesty by not doing research into his piece of art. so much god/Lucifer references
When you guys skipped the intro of Kendrick talking in your part 1, I knew you guys were gonna have to go back to it after listening to the album all the way through lol, you guys can't be doin that shit, especially to a Kendrick Album, everything is tied in lol.
I was patiently waiting for part 2, because the second half of this album *gives me everything* the first half is really good as well, but it seems to be all over the place to a degree *(or maybe I just don't get the order of the tracks yet)* . This album is really great though.. been bumping it all day loved it instantly
Ooou Kill em yeah same.. it threw me off because of the vocals.... I was surprised as hell, but now that song has me singing along with the chorus "flex on swole like aaaha" lol
On the God single Kendrick is first speaking like man who is blaming God, and then in the second verse he speaks as God answering Man. The hook is God laughing at man. This is how God feels. Creative!!
Duckwoth actually tells us you have to listen to the whole album back words why because in the beginning of duck worth “ what happens on earth stays on eath and we are gonna put it in reverse” and in the end of course it has a message it was the whole album backwords and in fast forward and when it got closer to the beginning its was slowibg down and it stop when kendrick said “when i was walking the other day” that was the real ending
Love hearing you guys discuss this stuff. Super unique and interesting perspective, always. But anyway, this album was everything I'd hoped it'd be and so much fucking more. One of my favorite albums, if not my favorite.
I don't mean to get y'all geeked, but Kendrick is a known internet creeper so he could be watching this at some point to get reactions to DAMN. lol (I say "creeper" because he doesn't really engage in social media, but he always looks for inspiration on the internet.)
Huhh😂😂 i’m a big Kendrick fan and i’ve seen no evidence of this. He says in his interviews that he gets inspiration from life. As someone that barely uses social media and is as skilled as he is. i very much doubt he’s creeping the internet. The guys a genius working hard, he don’t have time for you kids. Please don’t spread fake news. Unless you know kendrick or he’s admitted to it please don’t say hes a ‘known creeper’ theres people that might take your false claim as true.
Greatest album of 2k17 and it's only April🔥🤦🏾♂️. A lot of people are blinded by today's rap artist. This true creativity. Only the strong can under stand in my belief. #KDot did that🔥🔥🔥🔥
The last song was about Top-Dawg, he's anthony, u should commented on that man, i would love to see u realize that the end of the song. Nice reaction tho, love to y'all
Love your channel and your reviews.... BUUTT I DAMN well knew when yall didn't finish "BLOOD" in part 1, you would have to go back for answers. The reactions at the end were priceless LOL
My favorite part about y'all videos is the fact that family is working together. I'm from the D. So, I fucks with y'all off jump cause y'all know where home is. That Dirty Glove. Keep this up. I'm a hip hop head and rapper, and y'all have the best dissections I've seen. Peace & Love.
"That's that flow! That's that flow I've been waiting for, just sayin'". That's real talk, good looking out on the comparison of flows. Kung Fu Kenny always trying to slide! Y'all are dope, definitely subscribing.
Damn is deeper than yall can even imagine. He created an artwork masterpiece through rap. If he doesn't win rap album of the year, I'm fuckin somebody up!
I know I'm late, but I feel like in the beginning of the album after he dies he ends up going through every emotion and how he felt. Then when it gets to god he's talking to God with disrespect but God says watch who you're talking to then in duckworth when they say, "what happens on earth stays on earth, we gonna put it in reverse." It's God saying everything that stays on the earth will remain there but what I'm gonna tell you now only I know. Then when the song restarts he finds himself at begging of the day like nothing happened.
Anthony Efraimov Kendrick is talking about how life is coincidental. Anthony in the song is top dawg, and Ducky is Kendrick father. Top dawg was going to kill Ducky and rob his job but they ended up getting along. So if top dawg did kill Ducky then he would be in jail and wouldn't meet Kendrick. So Kendrick would've most likely turned to the gang lifestyle and would've died.
Just so y’all know I love your lyrical analysis of his music, and it’s been an idea/theory/dream of mine to analyze lyrical rap in a similar way to poetry! The lyrics have their own rhythm that strengthens the strength of the musical composition and actually controls the rhythm of the song and the emotions. I just think that’s a gorgeous concept that defines rap as a distinguished and complex as Oscar Wilde and William Shakespeare and Sylvia Plath and all of the other people we define as “geniuses” of literature. Thought you guys might get a kick out of the way I think about it! Keep doing this shit, so people pay attention to the story and not just how the song sounds 👌🏻🔥
Pride is still my favorite song on the album besides y'all but I love you guys reactions... I just subscribed I know this is old but you guys are great
I had already listened to the album before watching this, and when y'all finally went back to the beginning i was so happy. Your reaction was priceless! I'll keep fucking wit y'all. :)
This album you shouldn't hear it but you should actually listen to it everything is dope in this album fuck it he's the greatest rapper alive..BTY the part 1 is not working anymore..
That's how the Blue version of the other album will continue, that's the red version a member of TDE posted a pic of Morpheus from the matrix. Red and Blue pill there's another album coming. In the heart part 4 when he said TOC will make the whole industry become ice, TOC actually means THE OTHER COLOR for short.
I love the contrast between the tracks lust and love. Lust is almost like a self loathing, greedy track with pain and love is a beautiful easy 100% positive type of track.
Switch the beginning and the end, and then play the album backwards. This guy knows how to make 2 albums out of 14 songs. 2 of which are just intros and speeches. Genius. Truly, DAMN.
I probably will sound crazy but; i love DAMN better than TPAB. I can jam this album when i'm driving, at work, Gym or even just chilling at home .. .TPAB i really can't.
Also the first song and the end of the last song says the same thing "I was taking a walk the other day" because it suppose to be like a repeat album. Like when a song play repeat. Well that's what I got out if it. Make since to me lol
LUST 1:00

They mind was blown at the end when the entire album reversed and it ended with him sayin he was taking a walk the other day lmfao!!
TdotHoops . like bruh, that shit crazy.
It was lol they didn't realize the album started over 😂😂
TdotHoops . right 😂
Mr CJay Ruffin now if they would have listened to the first song all the way through they would have heard that whole thing and then know that it was the first track.
Zacari has an incredible voice, he only has 28k listeners on Spotify and Kendrick found him, that's crazy
Kendrick and Zacari both featured on The Suns Tirade so they already had a relationship
Steven Salmon he was also on Ab souls album on the song RAW
AshFPS He found anna wise too.
zacari is a tde artist
AshFPS TDE manages him.

@Hoppy the Mad Pencil they skipped blood on the first part
@SuneaterBry shut up dumbass
who needs Genius when these guys dissect the songs better than them haha #lawfamallldayyyyy
IssaMovement for real! Haha thats why I love them lol they react the same way I do haha
Doesn't genius have the artist dissect their own song
random stuff Not always
You should see Mallory bro’s they be dissecting songs down to a science that I don’t even think the actual artists think about and it still has you like “oh crap”

Gin Joe speak the truth
Shit
DAMN! Nice theory. Kendrick is a genius
Damn! Genius!
Damn...
I love how clueless you guys were at the end lol.
the album is Kendrick being honest with us about him being a complete contradiction. is he/humans inherently wicked, giving in to vices, or is he simply weak. ultimately he says being a 100% humble/kind/loving person is impossible. the album falls in line with his earlier concept of Lucy. Grdtchen Soileau the album could be named Devil Around Me Now? hahaha just thinking out loud
When you guys skipped the intro of Kendrick talking in your part 1, I knew you guys were gonna have to go back to it after listening to the album all the way through lol, you guys can't be doin that shit, especially to a Kendrick Album, everything is tied in lol.
Joshua true!! The album is a movie!!
Joshua They listen to the entire album, it's just copyright can catch someone real quick
They didn't skip because of copyright. Go and watch part 1 of their album review and see what i meant.
Devonte D Wells
9th wonder killed the beat switch and chops on DUCKWORTH, I feel that shit in my soul
I was patiently waiting for part 2, because the second half of this album *gives me everything* the first half is really good as well, but it seems to be all over the place to a degree *(or maybe I just don't get the order of the tracks yet)* . This album is really great though.. been bumping it all day loved it instantly
Yo I feel the same way.. the second half spills into the versatility I knew Kendrick could have... he's never made a song like "God" before.
Ooou Kill em yeah same.. it threw me off because of the vocals.... I was surprised as hell, but now that song has me singing along with the chorus "flex on swole like aaaha" lol
Man God really grew on me. This whole album is great.
Aaron Perry o
He's out dissing drake, on god the (6god) the ahah is a rip on drakes singing on his songs
bruh im gon say it again yall really trippin not playin the songs through.

then yall wonder why u don get it at the end.
Gregory Rand they do listen to the full song the only show parts where they react to certain bars.
Gregory Rand FAX BRO, they missed the whole good part on the last song in the album, duckworth
Colin Murray they play the whole song all the way through. it's just not in the video cause of copyright
XXX. and FEAR. my top 2 songs 🔥🔥🔥🔥
You skipped the part with U2 singing on XXX! Bono singing over the new groove!
it was perfect
Jack McCann agreed....i mean cmon! what rapper can GET Bono on their shit? and if they do,u screw it up by not even hearing it. big disgrace
Marcus White they didn’t skip shit they edited it out cause the vid was gonna be too long and for copyright
The dude on the right is Russell Westbrook
Damian Lillard definitely
Mans on the right is catching all the slick references and metaphors off top like it's nothing. Respect damn 🙏🏽
On the God single Kendrick is first speaking like man who is blaming God, and then in the second verse he speaks as God answering Man. The hook is God laughing at man. This is how God feels. Creative!!
Farooq Abdul Haqq I didn't cacth this this shit is so clever

I hope Kendrick still drops again on Sunday.
Listen to FEAR from God's perspective can be interesting.

Duckwoth actually tells us you have to listen to the whole album back words why because in the beginning of duck worth “ what happens on earth stays on eath and we are gonna put it in reverse” and in the end of course it has a message it was the whole album backwords and in fast forward and when it got closer to the beginning its was slowibg down and it stop when kendrick said “when i was walking the other day” that was the real ending

been waiting on this. fuck you guys are amazing. keep up the great reactions
I don't mean to get y'all geeked, but Kendrick is a known internet creeper so he could be watching this at some point to get reactions to DAMN. lol (I say "creeper" because he doesn't really engage in social media, but he always looks for inspiration on the internet.)
Queen Deebs that’s dope. That’s a dope artist right there lol

I am a huge Kendrick fan. When I first heard this album I thought it was amazing. Every time I hear it, it gets better. Kendrick is the GOAT.
The ending gave me goosebumps
Greatest album of 2k17 and it's only April🔥🤦🏾♂️. A lot of people are blinded by today's rap artist. This true creativity. Only the strong can under stand in my belief. #KDot did that🔥🔥🔥🔥

@LawTWINZ in DUCKWORTH Anthony was TopDawg and Duck (or Ducky) was K-Dot's father
Did anyone catch how fear has the same beat as the second beat change in the heart part IV
khareth bartee yeah
Bryson the Mad Pencil the heart part 4

The last song was about Top-Dawg, he's anthony, u should commented on that man, i would love to see u realize that the end of the song. Nice reaction tho, love to y'all
Guilherme Prado same

Great reaction guys!! but why you only reacted to the 1st verse in fear? the whole song is fire
When that beat switch in the beginning of DUCKWORTH. it’s amazing.
2019 thoughts
This album is still a banger
and...
The intro song brought be to tears R.I.P NBA2K19
Anthony is Top Dawg, CEO of TDE and Ducky is Kendrick's dad! The irony of God!
20 years later!
The connection between Kendrick's flow in Love and Goosebumps is genius. Subscribed immediately. Thats Hip-Hop Knowledge right there boiiiii
Love your channel and your reviews.... BUUTT I DAMN well knew when yall didn't finish "BLOOD" in part 1, you would have to go back for answers. The reactions at the end were priceless LOL

When you say you're going to catch Kendrick sliding but he slides on you at the end. Or the beginning? oooooo HASHTAG!!!!

I know I'm late, but I feel like in the beginning of the album after he dies he ends up going through every emotion and how he felt. That’s a great interpretation, dude. I know this comment is 4 years old, but I don’t give a damn lol
I’m out here hyped for that new Kendrick watching old reactions hope y’all doing better 💯
yall made the album 2x better with these detail reviews 💯
good shit!! may i ask, why don't you guys review the whole track? just wondering.
I was hoping you guys would understand the story being told in Duckworth
Essence Parker yeah I was thinking the same thing. It tied up the album perfectly!
can you explain me the story pls
Anthony Efraimov Kendrick is talking about how life is coincidental. Anthony in the song is top dawg, and Ducky is Kendrick father. Top dawg was going to kill Ducky and rob his job but they ended up getting along. So if top dawg did kill Ducky then he would be in jail and wouldn't meet Kendrick. So Kendrick would've most likely turned to the gang lifestyle and would've died.
ohh thanks !!
Yalls face at the end kilt me LMAO. Deadass thought yall figured it out then ya had to go ahead and end it -_-
Just to let y'all know, Anthony was Top, the owner of TDE. Duckworth tells the story about how Top almost killed Kendricks dad
Love was by far my favorite song. Amazing album!
Keep doing this shit, so people pay attention to the story and not just how the song sounds 👌🏻🔥
love your reviews
Pride is still my favorite song on the album besides y'all but I love you guys reactions... I just subscribed I know this is old but you guys are great
The ending to this video was perfect. Y'all were so shook y'all were left speechless Ahahahaha 😂😂😂😂
Ya'll are so cute and making me like songs on the album that I didn't even like before. This is currently my favorite album.
Lmaoo y'all need to pay attention on the duckworth track. Anthony is Top Dawg. Ducky is Kendrick Lamars Father
I WAS MAD THAT YALL DIDN'T LISTEN TO THE FIRST TRACK ALL THE WAY THROUGH, BUT YOUR REACTIONS PLAYED OUT PERFECTLY IN THE END.
I had already listened to the album before watching this, and when y'all finally went back to the beginning i was so happy. Your reaction was priceless! I'll keep fucking wit y'all. :)

Very smart! Y'all caught a lot of things for a first listen. Subbed 💅🏾
I like what you guy's do, but y'all some damn fools for not listening to Duckworth in it's entirety.
Amazing album and amazing review.
I love how fear and the heart part 4 kinda connects also
That's how the Blue version of the other album will continue, that's the red version a member of TDE posted a pic of Morpheus from the matrix. Red and Blue pill there's another album coming. In the heart part 4 when he said TOC will make the whole industry become ice, TOC actually means THE OTHER COLOR for short.
i love the details you guys picked up on xxx.
Yall don't know how funny that reaction at the end was
I love the contrast between the tracks lust and love. Lust is almost like a self loathing, greedy track with pain and love is a beautiful easy 100% positive type of track.
I've watched 10 reviews on this album . Best one I've seen . Y'all felt the same way I felt about the songs . Straight " playlist "

Mwamba Simon Kapss this is the perfect Kendrick album for me. Combines the best elements of all of his previous albums into one amazing product!
Absolutley

LAW FAM cant wait for that dirty dancing review #reactgods Can you guys react to harry mack?
Also the first song and the end of the last song says the same thing "I was taking a walk the other day" because it suppose to be like a repeat album. Like when a song play repeat. Well that's what I got out if it. Make since to me lol
