Wow! Absolutely amazing! I was hooked from the start! Great acting, the script, the lighting atmosphere, background...ALL of it! Thank you so much for this mini masterpiece!!
An excellent film, powerfully portrayed. This is one toxic relationship, one where the couple involved should really have separated from each other a long time ago, but for whom the cycle of betrayal and reunification produces intense emotions so strong that they can’t seem to let go. And I do believe that it is a cycle, one where they have physically and mentally abused each other and cheated many times. They play games with each other, and their relationship is not loving, but obsessive. The film also shows the conflicting emotions that women often feel when they have an abortion, especially when it is not something they really want. What is so sad is that when she walked into her home and probably needed some emotional support, her partner was having sex with someone else. Also, when a later-term abortion has been performed there are significant hormonal changes which can affect mood a lot. Seeing what she was going through at the clinic, juxtaposed with her experience at home was intense. This gets a 10/10 - an excellent film indeed.
Absolutely amazing short! The narration almost feels like it could be a freestyle poem adapted to video format, with the parts where they actually talk added for fleshing out the story. Fantastically smart and tense. Loved it.
As soon as I finished watching I exclaimed to myself: perfection exists, here it is! Incredibly beautiful short film, everything perfect, plot, actors, photography, sound, soundtrack. Very good all of them.
Hmmm... a few questions (spoilers so if you haven't watched it don't read further) .... What are some folks ideas of what actually happened? Is the mistress real or just a figment of the wife's imagination? She seems to just randomly vanish from the film near the end, but there are a couple of quick shots later on that are too dark to really discern whether they are the wife or the mistress, so maybe something happened to her? I know the wife kills him at the end (heck, most of the films on this channel with a couple end with the woman killing the man, so it would have been an upset if it didn't end that way) but not sure about the rest; was her plan just to kiss the mistress and things spiraled out of control? Or was pretty much everything just in her head -- there's certainly enough to imply that was the case.
Oh human relations can be true HORROR especially when the monster of betrayal crawls around beneath the sheets. Hmm what with a cheating couple laying in bed right now watching this short reflect on. Humans...
The trauma. Going through an abortion alone because you love your partner that much only to walk in one them cheating. All of that leaves behind mental, emotional, psychological and physical pain She kind of looks like Blake Lively lol
this is absolutely amazing!! it really reminds me of the monologue from Gone Girl whenever Sophie has a voice over. everyone involved did a stunning job. kudos!!
Great DP work. Lighting and production augment story work and acting. So much done in a car and on one location! Narration was couched in backdrop of beautiful cutaways and tense shocking betrayal, that it became part of the landscape, not over powering as I tends to be. Great job.
They really didn’t. That’s why the “mistress” seemed confused when she apologized. She was losing touch with reality. She became overwhelmed with the events of her day & depending on how far along in her pregnancy she could be very hormonal as well. These 2 was the epitome of toxic!
I actually wanted to throw up too, twice.. When she did and when she was in the car, on the phone and acted she hadn't come home earlier.. Great acting! 🖤
After all she'd been through i think she let him off the hook way to easy . Sad premise to something that occurs way to often & she really should have taken him apart & his little hussy. Nice job on this & it is a sad state of affairs as love should never be this way.

I was a little confused at the end but either way the lighting on this is amazing. The red brings out so many emotions/feeling that the director is trying to get. And it also looks fantastic. Very well done. I only wish this one was just a tiny bit longer.

Beautiful and somewhat both twisted and sad at the same time. I didn't understand really good the relationship part, especially when she was on the phone in the beginning... are they divorced but unable to detach from this abusive relationship, or are they an open couple with terrible emotions management? I'll rewatch it to understand in some time, but that's a Like for me! 👏👏👏
I dont like guys or women like that at all , being able to commit and freely letting yourself become one with someone shouldn't be taken lightly . great story and commentary , hope it gives the message clearly to those who take relationships for granted .
Wow!! I can't even think of a word in the dictionary that encompasses how powerful everything is. The actors, especially the wife's voiceovers, lighting, the camera angles... I almost felt like a voyeur watching it I was so sucked into it making me feel all her raw emotions and yet sorry for the girl "mistress" and I wanted to help hold him down as she took her revenge on certain "appendages"!! LOL I am definitely going to check out more of her work. There needs to be more females in the horror/thriller/suspense genre and I would nominate Alice Biletska in a heartbeat! Going to share this film as well as creator! What a way to start a cold, rain/sleet and freezing day, better jolt than my morning coffee!! 💖😍💞🥰

She's feeling like she personally killed the baby when had the abortion, I think it's a metaphor like she "dirtied her hands" cause of the guilt, but it could be something else

Hm. Well there are good and bad points with this one I’m sorry to say that overall it didn’t achieve what it seemed to be going for, a Lynchian sort of vibe. Although there were a few moments where I thought the story would take off in an interesting direction but all the opportunities were just neglected. When it comes to the acting though, and the cinematography, it doesn’t get much better so don’t give up. You’ll get it the next time around . Peace and love
