I'd like to know if you've used the lil buddy tool and how this stacks up? I currently have one and am thinking about upgrading. The lil buddy has served me well, but I'm not entirely confident in the cups any more, and the sleeve inside the barrel the rod slides in is getting worn.
26 years of installing I don't sell them . the solo is just better slides like butter and 3 min setup on most cars trucks. it's not perfect but it works well .
I'd call bull crap on this video these people are not reviewing it they're advertising it to only say the downfall is the case is too heavy this is a bull crap review I don't have much faith in this tool
This is the worst setting tool I have ever used. I have set thousands of windshields using various tools like the lil buddy and offerings from equalizer but this is by far the dumbest tool created. It does not seem designed for mobile use, does not work well on hidden pinch welds, and requires a dry set for most vehicles to get the correct measurements. Whoever designed this tool hated technicians and has no idea how the modern vehicle works. If your company forces you to use this tool (like mine is currently), find a new company. Do yourself, your business, and your spine a favor and steer clear of this awful contraption.
