  • In this Video You will learn how to plant Avocado, germinate the seed (step by step the easiest and fastest way the result is excellent.
Important information about Avocado Properties for our health, and about cultivation.
Avocado (Persea americana) is a fruit of the Lauraceae family, which has 3 varieties: Antillean (Persea americana var. Americana), Guatemalan (Persea americana var. Guatemalensis) and Mexican (Persea americana var. Drymifolia).
It is a plant of origin in Central America, more precisely of the region between Peru and Mexico. There are records of cultivation dating to about 10,000 years. It was diffused in Brazil in 1809 that today is the fourth largest producer in the world.
The avocado is a medium to tall tree, ranging from 7 to 20 meters, with dark green leaves, simple, small flowers greenish yellow and perfumed. The fruit is pear-shaped, with fleshy pulp greenish yellow, and can reach up to 1 kg, containing a single large seed.
Tropical plant, planting is done preferably at the beginning of rainy seasons and fruitful all year round.
Germination occurs approximately 20 days, with 2 months transplantation to the Vase or soil.
In plants of free standing (seedlings obtained from planting seeds without grafting), flowering and fruiting begin at around the age of five.
With the exception of banana, avocado has four (4) times more nutritional value than any other fruit. It is the fruit that has the highest amount of protein and is rich in vitamins C and E, folic acid, and potassium. It also contains good amounts of iron, magnesium and vitamin B6, as well as beta-sistotinol (which can help lower blood cholesterol) and glutathione, an excellent antioxidant. It has a high fat content, making it very rich in calories, which caused that the experts in diets abolished the consumption of this fruit. However, most of the fat in avocado is monounsaturated, that is, healthy fat.
It is an excellent fruit in the fight against headaches, rheumatic pains, diarrhea, excess of urea, liver failure, dry skin, hair dryness, retention of biliary secretion, verminoses and is a great diuretic.

I did that cup/water method & stick some seeds around my jade plants & jus saw 4 avocados seeding from the pot soil 4 inches high while the seeds in the cup still rooting, so I jus removed all the seeds from the cup & stick them to directly to the potted soil. So it's easier to jus stick them to soil & water it every couple days, but make sure u peel the skin 1st.

Nothing is coincidence in this universe, the important thing is to learn and think. Why we were created, whether this world was created for play and entertainment, many questions come to mind, but when we look at the history of religions, namely monotheism (Judaism, Christianity and Islam), this world is not a game and entertainment.

I am so excited! I finally decided to try this and a few weeks later my first seed sprouted a root!! The root shoot is now almost to the bottom of the glass and wasn't sure what to do with it from here. there is no sprout yet at the top for leaves, yet, so I guess I wait until it has leaves to remove from the glass of water and plant in soil? I saw another tutorial where they removed the skin or outer stuff from the seed, first, but I didn't do that. My boyfriend and I were looking at it the other day wondering how or where the leaves grow out from? Will it eventually crack apart as the bottom has? I am so excited :)

*GROWING METHOD* i started growing my seed by covering it in a very damp/soaked napkin, then I wrapped the damp napkin around the avocado seed and put it in a ziplock/sandwich bag. I put it somewhere warm inside my house to grow. I opened the ziplock bag two weeks later and the stem was already there! I changed the napkin (remember to wet it) and put it back in ziplock bag for another two weeks and the stem and root were growing. If you try this method make sure to check it and replaces a damp napkin and completely cover the seed every TWO WEEKS. until you see both the stem and root! then you could transfer it to a jar and insert the toothpicks. It works, good luck with your planting! :,)
