My kind of preaching! It’s what I grew up with in that little town in Kentucky. A lot of this kind of preaching is dwindling as most older preachers have passed on. If you’re not offended and if this kind of preaching bugs you as you listen… Praise the Lord! That only means you have never received the living word of God through a preacher that is set on fire by the Holy Ghost! Thank you Heavenly Father for your blessings and drawing me back to you after years of backsliding. You dealt with my heart through it all. I am grateful for your mercy and grace. I am a child of God.
I was fortunate to grow up and hear good old fashion preaching but like a lot of kids that grow up in a Christian home, you feel like you “missed” out. The world offers you pleasure for a moment but you will spend a lifetime reaping what you’ve sowed. I’m thankful God never gave up on me and I’m happy to be a “prodigal” son. I wish I had never left my Fathers side. I can’t get back the wasted years but I plan on spending the rest of my life living for Him😍
I grew up believing that the pastor preaching knew me and was talking about me so I went astray and lived in this ungodly world long enough I ran back to the church where that pastor preached boldly the word of God but he had passed away and his son took over and brought damnable heresies meaning other Bible versions and was watered down I needed to be feed I ran around town looking for this kind of preaching and couldn't find it I found pastor Lawson and this fellow thank God for preachers who preach it's so needed in my town I'm thrown out of churches because I ask where the Holy Ghost at
Very deep testimony went from a drunk to born again I'm 38 still young and love this kind of preaching

Before I got saved by the grace of God (last summer), this kind of preaching would have made me feel very uncomfortable...Nowadays this brings joy to my heart and brings me closer to God!
If anyone has a problem with his loud preaching please simply turn off your computer instead of insulting one of God's precious servants...He is on fire for the Lord, bless him!!! Praise God! Peace.

I have followed CT ministry for a while, been to tent revivals he has had and I believe if everyone with there sour comments we'll just worry about the message and Search Your Heart the rest of these things will become nothing. Two of the best preachers I know to date in that building....

Every time he preaches he brings conviction
This is called getting in your face with the Word. I see nothing wrong with it and I pray for the message of the Lord to come through as He sees fit.
If the “hollering” bothers you, just lower your volume, simple.

John 3:36 there's nothing wrong with that as long as it's from God. Yet I'm not use to the loose humor. I promise you there is no one "laughing" while the Holy Ghost is circulating in the church I go to.

Ppl saying stop yelling go watch joel Osteen.I was brought up in a apostolic church and this is normal.Ppl running the aisle s jumping all types of things.the devil has made u rhink thats wrong.but when u are a part of REAL revival u know its not show.u know its not fake.I member my mom,a quiet emotioless woman got drunk in the spirit she couldn't stop laughing put her to bed laughing.saten ia real and has clouded ur mind because u have never been really saved before
Street Be This is Southern Preaching. The kids don't go to sleep. You don't get bored you stay alert an God speaks to you.

Surely he's not selling those ministry DVD's CD's… in the Church. Where God Guilds God Provides money should never be mentioned preaching to the lost or the saints in a meeting according to scripture. I pray The Lord would give em the faith to allow The LORD to open doors & provide the materials. I can testify God will provide when my wife & I ministered abroad doing all the set up of the system …then minister then tear it all down drive for hours back home or go to work for 12 hrs after. We would always have the church know we didn't want money taken up for us at the service if they wanted to bless us pray about & decide what you feel God has laid on your hearts & we would not charge for our ministry . But God provided always against all odds playing w/Gospel artist & bands groups.. was very disheartening behind the scenes most get at lest $5000 for revival meetings & up for other events..…this was 20 yrs ago . But we were led by the Spirit of The LORD , I pray TC keeps on growing in faith & reliance on God for everything. We had a 3 day event preaching & Gospel music for 3 days camping free food & drinks & desserts had TV commercials done for free Lays Chips Coke Publix all gave all we needed we served 2000+ hotdogs w/chips drinks slaw & desserts & a stage & sound company all for free we charged for nothing we had Greyhound Busses coming from NC & all over. We grace away gifts every night after the main preaching & call to repentance & believing on Jesus Christ as LORD & GOD , each night was a giveaway of a guitar nice acoustics & a Les Paul on the last night a man won that one & he & his family was in real need of money so he got to sell that Les Paul & have the money he needed. God was lifted up people were amazed that everything was free God will Provide Indeed. May God Bless this man to preach to Gospel w/the burden of The LORD for souls.

No, he was not selling in the church. He was only letting people know they had the dvd's and cd's. You heard him say, if God lays it on your heart to give and if not then don't.
All the free things YOU mentioned YOU DONE, what does that have to do with God? It isn't about what fee things you can give away, it's about The Lord Jesus Christ and there is no other way to the father but by and through the blood of his son Jesus.
There is nothing wrong with taking up a live offering to help ministers that are traveling from place to place to spread the Gospel of God. If you don't feel right about a church taking up a live offering to help your ministry, the do not take it, give it back to the church so they might help someone else. If you think it is wrong to buy a gospel dvd or cd of Gods word, then don't buy one. But you should not condem others whom do. Many have be saved by listening to Gods word on these tapes!
Remember everything you bragged about in your comment that's free, and how you ask for nothing. But you give for free. Ask yourself, was it free, how did you receive it? Someone, somewhere, I assure you paid for all those free things that YOU brag about that YOU gave so freely. Well, it isn't about YOU and what YOU can give for free that someone else has already bought.
There is nothing in life free! Even salvation was paid for! It was bought and paid for by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. Yes it is free for all whom believe, but it has already been paid for.
This could be Gods way of providing to help the travels of CT Townsend ministry. God provides in different ways for different people. This preacher wasn't begging or condemning people if they didn't give! Only letting them know their gospel tracks were available if God placed in on your heart to help their ministry this way.
There are so many so-called Mega preachers out there that do actually demand those dollars if support, yet you think this small ministry that says Give if God places in on your heart to Give is wrong, all because you never ever let people know your need in the ministry. You only speak of what YOU can give for free without publicly saying it does cost to travel. I will say, maybe you have and can travel for free to spread Gods word, but remember it wasn't free for those whom paid for your travels behind closed doors. Because soneone, somewhere did help pay for all you free travels and free gifts!!!
Maybe people wonder why you give gifts out for people to attend and listen to your sermons? Is it odd that you give gifts out? What us that for? I've never heard if that before.
The only gift, is the Gospel of Grace and true salvation.

That’s why the world is in the evil, rebellious, sin filled condition it’s in. The Holy Spirit is absent from most churches today.
