Love love love those old ZJ's, especially with the V8. I've seen them take abuse like you wouldn't believe and just shrug it off. Congrats to your daughter on a great rig; I'm sure it'll bring her many years of great adventures.
Us too! We had a family member who had one and she beat the absolute tar out of it and that Jeep just keep asking for more. Half the things that broke on it, she would ignore, and it would just fix itself after a while lol
What fluid did you use? Dex/merc or atf+4? .. i just changed to fluid and filter on mine and used atf+4 and now the jeep feels like it has no power on the highway any tips?
ATF+4 is the factory correct fluid. If you don't get the level exactly right, the trans will for sure have issues. Also, there are two fuses in the engine compartment for the transmission, make sure one of those didn't pop while you were doing the work; trans won't run right without them. Good luck and thanks for the question!
Great to see Sam in this one! Cool project taking an affordable Jeep and getting it running again. Wheels look good in black
Jeep sounds great! Glad it is getting all fixed up

Well done sir. And funny on the channeling Jake😂
It happens more often than I care to admit lol. Sam's comments about Jake in the bloopers were pretty funny too
