    Please note that while a degenerate choice, The Deck was played at the explicit request of Timmy 😅

      That was the _real_ reason for the nail polish. Street magicians often do that to distract their marks while they perform their slight of hand. Seems to have worked!

    • @joeb1522
      @joeb1522 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      On the turn that starts at 31:40, his opponent plays an island and a factory in the same turn (playing a time twister between the land drops). This might have been game impacting as the opponent only had 3 life and needed a factory to block.

    Great games....it is very difficult to play against "The Deck" if they can get 7 cards in hand mid game. I think the sideboard is very defensive, but you want to be aggressive with this deck. If the creatures get shut off the game is doomed so maybe diversification of damage like more storm seekers or a rocket launcher in the sideboard. Perhaps the addition of concordant crossroads (sideboard) to get rid of the abyss. The chronicles version is only about $12.

    • @TimmytheSorcerer
      @TimmytheSorcerer  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I do have some weapons in the sb, but.. ah well, agree with your suggestion about the Crossroads, def should play 2 ik the sb.

  • @macadoo1588

    Should have played Berserk on his factories in game 2 when he first started attacking after Abyss came down. Would have taken it on the chin for one round but could have removed his threats.

      Thanks 🙌, I was pretty happy with myself as well. I know there are some os players who are dedicated green players, like dfb and they really know how to get most out of these decks. They’ve beaten plenty of UWx decks. I took this list to a tournament as well (a few years back) and went 3-2. The only total 💥 loss was against a powered robots deck (trike t2 or t3 is ridiculously powerful against my little guys).

    • @johnblack7554
      @johnblack7554 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TimmytheSorcerer I get that, and that's the issue, it's too passive and gives your opponent time to find answers. Also, I didn't see Maze of Iths or Wraths, even post side board. This is just me, but I feel that is very disrespectful to creature based decks to not at least have them available and I feel this list would have been eaten alive by Djinn Suicide or really any deck with bolts, chains, and blasts alongside creatures.

    I always feel its kinda boring its not possible to win unpowered green against the deck unless he draws desd hands, and that makes the games boring no matter what, you will loose 90% of all games if you play unpowered against the deck and the 10% you will win is him drawing no mana or all lands, never a good time for e

    • @TimmytheSorcerer
      @TimmytheSorcerer  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's the interesting thing about these decks, do you want an extra threat or an avoid fate, or perhaps take out a Giant Growth or Berserk for a fate? You're constantly puzzling. Mono green has so, so many great options.

    • @BaronNick
      @BaronNick 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TimmytheSorcerer you are a blue player U know how impactful a well timed counterspell is. U drop an Earnie, they plow it, the dance goes on. But you counter that plow, and it puts them on their heels. Avoid fate is a 1 mana counterspell that assures you maintain board control. Or worst case for you, they have a counter ready for avoid fate which u make them use up. U spent 1 mana, they spent 3. And your next important thing is less likely to be countered.

    • @joeb1522
