Fascinating video. I like these dyno events. Im sorry to see that the G was sick.
Neat! I have a newer M&W dyno, does 540rpm pto, 1,000rpm PTO, and direct to engine. It sure is a great machine for testing tractors and tuning them.
Probably the altitude but the 70 can actually get their front wheels bouncing if you make them work that dyno
I've got an unusual question, how much H.P. for the Pony motor ? A neighbor farmer had an R that vibrated everywhere.
The pony motors are only like 20 cubic inches... So not much HP at all. But honestly, I don't know.
Was the transmissions in a one-to-one ratio gear.
Are you taking about the transmission off the tractor or a transmission on the dyno?
Doesn’t matter what gear the transmission is in. It’s a 540rpm pto dyno. So each model of tractor is geared down differently
Did you have your model M checked ? How about your model A ? Good video. Loved watching.
We have tested my A a couple of years back and it did good. It was right at 35 HP. We did not test the M. Next time we have the Dyno out I'll have to test the M because I'd like to know it's power output too.
Where i live in Holland we are officially under sea level, does that give me a 3 percent increase in horsepower?😂
Sure! Take the added air pressure where you can! We're at about 5000 feet (1500 meters).
You would definitely get more power if you tested at night when there is more oxygen.
that isn't the correct I seen it done U look at the HP reading and look where it is at when the engine stalls out gas or diesel 😊😊 OMG 8 31 2O23
Best weather for a Dyno day is a cool damp misty day you'd be surprised the difference it makes 💪💪
Oh I'm sure it does. Just like ETs at the drag strip are so dependent on temperature and pressure.
