For cods sake Doug. I dont have any experience with cod but it looked like a pretty reasonable fish. I have no doubt that it tasted bloody good & I challenge anybody to serve one up thats fresher👍
@DeepDiveSurvivor2024 its impossible to see any negatives about it. You have the hike & climb aspect, a bit of physical effort is great. You're not only surrounded by fresh air, but about the best view & environment to be doing anything in, if you have any success then it's delicious success & what's the saying? The worst day fishing is better than the best day working. NZ being surrounded by oceans, fishing is a popular Kiwi pursuit also, be it boat or land based. I've done much more land based fishing to varying degrees of success, in truth, for all of the reasons I mentioned above, if I do get fish, it makes it a bonus but I have mates that are more devoted than myself & as such, are much more successful, more often. Back in the day when I would driiiiiink, I always had a line in & made sure my bait wasnt robbed but I loved chilling out just as much whereas everyone I would go fishing with focused on the fishing & all else was secondary, they were more in the vein of professional fishing & I was amateur fishing, though I think we enjoyed our day/evening/night as much as each other would. Do you guys have John Dory up there?
And that's exactly what we wants to see.🎣💥
