As far as your date goes, if it makes you feel any better, I’m currently dating my best friend that I’ve known for ten years. Neither of us felt anything until here recently. Don’t pressure yourself to feel anything. Honestly just allow yourself to enjoy spending time with someone! As long as you make your intentions known as to your position on dating, that’s completely okay! There’s no rush or time limit on dating. But super proud of you putting yourself out there !

I felt the “people think I’m dumb” more than anything. I grew up being smart. I’m pretty book smart and I love learning so I genuinely just know a lot about different topics and I feel like since I say dumb little ditzy things people just think I’m dumb overall. Like I’ll start talking about something I genuinely know a lot about but if it comes right after me saying something goofy people don’t take me seriously. Like nobody knows or cares about my 4.0 or my published essays or my legal or psych background and that was such a huge part of my identity for so long that it’s frustrating

I am the same, I sometimes say dumb things when talking to people. I am weird🙂but that because i have my nephews and niece and speak differently and that transfers to when i am talking to others. keeping doing you but don't let people walk over you which is something i had struggled with...i am barely realizing I pushed down my values, opinions and views just to please others but it is not right cause you lose yourself. Just started the vid but something that may help with the veggie chopper is getting one of those cooking cut proof gloves off Amazon. They’ve save my fingers for sure and they usually aren’t expensive

As far as your date goes…If you don’t get an ick, go on the date! 3 years in after a first date that was not bad but also not like best day ever because 1) I think that I put way too much pressure on the date going well and 2) I was nervous and 3) I was coming out of a long term relationship and had high expectations. All that to say that you never know. Us gals are a slow burn when it comes to attraction, so it’s not weird that you don’t feel strong about the guy in a bad way or in a good way…it takes awhile for us to figure it out!
Also, Keegan, I do remember you saying you wanted to get a TH-cam tattoo to celebrate your 10-year anniversary. Did you get the tattoo?
No :( I still haven’t decided where I want to get it so I decided to wait until I’m 100% certain on that decision but I am 100% getting that as my first tattoo

I know my comment is kinda off topic to this video but I just wanna say that your water drinking in your vlogs has encouraged me to have water wayyyyyy more so now I have to go to the bathroom like every 30 minutes. I'm trying to make it into a habit and I've been drinking mostly water every day for the last 5 days and I think it takes 21 days to make a habit so I'm almost 1/3 of the way to turning this into a habit for me. My apologies if it sound judgmental but as an Asian, microwave frozen rice is a crime. I eat rice almost everyday and we usually cook it fresh a few times a week in a rice cooker. Trust me, fresh cooked rice with some chicken or beef broth will elevate your rice eating experience. And since rice stays good for up to 3 days, you can just cook a few portions of rice. And leftover rice tastes even better.
And its very interesting to see mayo and siracha being put on rice. We definitely do things differently on this side of the world Also at first that rice looked like it needed some seasonings and i usually put soy sauce sesame oil and toasted sesame seeds on top.
I’ve been wanting to get a rice cooker because I’ve heard its much better! Do you have one you recommend?
It would be highly unlikely to get salmonella from salmon. Especially salmon frozen longer than 48 hours. So many people eat salmon raw, I wouldn't worry about temping it. I prefer mine medium rare :)

Just want to say that at your age dating should be fun, and doesn’t have to be about attraction unless you’re wanting to get serious quick; which I’m thinking you don’t based on previous blogs. I wasn’t attracted to my husband, and thought he was weird when I first met him. I would ask your dermatologist!! I never had eczema but I did have a bunch of bumps on my arms and they gave me a topical for that
