Hulō a me Hoʻopōmaikaʻi e Lois! Cheers and blessings dear Lois on your engagement. I live on Oʻahu and so happy you tried Hawaiian food! It looks like you enjoyed the squid lūʻau. And as well as the Japanese, Korean, and Portuguese treats, too! When you were at Matsumoto Shave Ice, I was hoping you’d try the açaí bowl at Haleiwa Bowls which is my absolute favorite! Unfortunately Oct to April is still our “winter” season so If you visit again during our “summer” from May to Sep I hope you do the infamous Koko Head hike and Waimea Valley or Mānoa Falls to see the waterfalls at the end of the trail. Congratulations again❤ p.s, the beach on the windwsrd side thst you went to is Lanikai (“lah-nee-kai”) not Lanakai. 😊
