Would love another black flag with the new mechanics the Arkham style combat is very outdated and way to easy. I just bought black flag and prolly gonna put it down the combat is to easy the enemies die after 1 or 2 swings of my sword and offer no challenge and the fact there is no difficulty makes it easier to put the game down what a waste of 15 bucks but oh well atleast it was only 15

@@blacktimbs8354 I think a remaster with maxed settings including 60fps would do. I’d rather just have them make a sequel then an actual remake. There’s plenty to expand with Edward ken way. And they should have made a game with Connor and Shay Cormac to close out the timeline

Watching this makes me wanna replay Ac black flag once more.
i played it through again on my Series X, loved it every bit as much as i did the first time round.. it’s clearly a bit dated in some places but otherwise so enjoyable

I swear I've dreamt about this once. Whenever ubisoft start doing a Capcom and remake older AC games I pray this is what IV looks like.
The funny part is that in Unisoft they consider that they already remastered ac4...

I think Ezio's overall story is better but this has much better game play. I really enjoyed AC3, once you got passed the Haytham section. Still a good story overall

Besides the dof me too. But I think I can make the color pop up more without any mod just using the nvidia screen filter which can also add a dof.

Don't confuse Ezio with Edward because that would be wrong Edward is not good so much Edward just a pirate and he work for the money but Ezio he work for the revenge so i think Edward not deserved the trilogy
@@Ardonia Edward is an excellent character who learns the lesson that selfishly chasing money and prosperity is a fools game. His motivations cause him to lose many friends and in that loss he becomes a reformed man with a greater purpose and a better belief to fight for. There’s no confusing him for Ezio he’s his own amazingly done character.

When they use blur you know they are hiding something, old graphics in this case, cause they can't remake it.

@@JesusChrist-rc2kr It just makes no sense to have the Depth of Field be focusing on the character. We're looking through the eyes of the player, we should be seeing whats infront of us. Its just an excuse to cover up the rest of the graphics being low res beside his body

Would love to see a remake of this game with a revamped combat system. Easily the most enjoyable Assassin's Creed game out there, and with actual RTX tech, this would look gorgeous.

The naval combat had really good targeting mechanics for a "single player" game. Skull N Bones was supposed to be based off that type of naval combat. But for Skull N Bones I think they realized how unbalanced those targeting mechanics would be in a MMO. I think Skull N Bones would have been released if they would have taken a different approach more similar to Blackwake ship battles.
So are we just gonna ignore how smooth 3:15 was?

AC:Black flag was the first game to use/invent "Frustum aligned local fog volumes", basically modern volumetrics which games like Read dead redemption 2 use it widely..

Very nice results. It's crazy how much better this game gets with rtgi. I remember when I first tried it, it blew me away, even at the stock setting. the dof you got there is a bit too aggressive for my liking but the stuff you did with the lod and rtgi is amazing. Also the color correcting looks dope, the game really needed it. 1 question tho, have you found a way around the game unloading the depth during boarding sections and the jungle? It's really annoying having to disable rtgi and dof every time I board enemy ships :|

You should play Chronicles, especially China and India. They are beautiful and a lot of fun. PS: Black Flag is also my favorite :)

Regardless, this reshade should work with rogue just fine.

I really miss this game. The pirate aspect of it made it feel like the developers didn't want to make another assassins title but a really good pirate game.
Ubisoft should do a stand alone mmo version and just continue to pump in more content.

Normally when I see games with graphics like this I feel as thought they're a bit too bright. But actually, this looks just right. Its found that correct balance.
I played this game first time on my cousin's pc and it was the year 2016 maybe but it became my dream game at the time because i really enjoyed the foot sounds while parkouring the buildings and all.
i didnt have a pc or laptop powerful enough to run this masterpiece and in 2023 jan i got a laptop which could run this game , first thing i did was install this game and damn man , made me an even bigger fan
i am deeply indulged in the AC series and this has become a big part of my life...
