Rocky Rani was a really really good film. Totally enjoyed watching it. Karan really knows how to make the celluloid and emotions big. Did a spectacular job with the entire cast. Gave us a needed big bollywood bonanza ❤ he often doesn't get the credit he deserves but this time all the love us pouring in.
Dharma deserved a lot more flak for Brahmastra. It was one of the most shitty film I'd seen that year. Don't know how Ayan ended up getting so many awards for that. Oh wait. I do know. 😉
Rocky Rani was a good film, not a great one. It falls in the category of Bareli ki barfi, Humpty sharma, badrinath ki dulhania, shaadi mein zaroor aana etc. I agree when you say it could have been a smaller, more intimate film. I would have liked it too.
As an audience, only the Chondon arc worked for me as that seemed like it came from a very honest and lived in space. Karan'a effeminate dancing is (in)famous and I loved how he channeled his inner angst through the character of Chondon played effectively by Tota Roy Chowdhury. But the rest of the subplots fell flat for me. Too half baked and intentionally easy it seemed.
I mean how can people be so dumb and nonsensical. No one has any proof that he has harassed Sushant in any way but everyone just love to throw allegations just coz someone crazy said that he is the Bollywood mafia. Grow up seriously!!

This was kjo weakest film yet a good one time watch ! I feel K3g and adhm were his best movies
I wish he cared for Sushant's mental health as well before crying about his own.
Sushant was a drug addict. There was nothing anyone could have done.
