It's really nice to see you in my comment section under one of my videos! And thank you very much - I'm glad you enjoyed my playthrough of the Cascadia solo mode! 😊
Great playthrough, thanks. I've been thinking of treating myself to this as it looks a great solo experience. I've recently been playing Trekking Through History using the PnP Solo mode - another light and enjoyablegame and is terrific visually. Possibly a little too light for you, but it does have 4 levels of difficulty to go at. Thanks again, I have watched a number of your playthroughs and find them engaging and a fun watch.
I believe that the water at the end should have been only 3 points, because the one at the top wasn't connected. That is how we play anyways, the actual habitats need to be touching, not just the tiles. Also, I think it would have been better to take the salmon tile as your last piece so you could have received a nature token at the end as well, and also add onto your water. Only one more point but still!
You're absolutely right! The mountain and water tiles somehow looked too similar and I actually miscounted. 😱 Luckily, it doesn't make a huge difference. 😅
@@SirThecos yeah it was only one point haha. I sometimes watch videos like these to learn a game or see how others play and then if I see something like that and see no comment I could assume I’ve been playing wrong. So it’s always good to point out! And in a multiplayer game of Cascadia that 1 point can make the difference!
thanks for the cool playthrough! i've played it once with friends and it was so fun; i didn't realize there was a solo player option. also, i'd definitely watch an achievement hunt!
@@SirThecos I stand corrected being the version of the card B vs C If this were card C then: DISCARDING THE ELK AT THE VERY TOP following the hawk at the top of the board (row 1 pos 2), he connects to: row (3 pos 2), = 1 hawk @ (row 3 pos 2 connects to: row 3 pos 4, row 5 pos 1 and row 5 pos 3) = 3 hawk @ (row 5, pos 1 connects to: row 5 pos 3) = 1 hawk @ (row 5 pos 3 connects to: row 3 pos 4) = 1
Oh, that's really cool! I hope you'll have fun with the game. 😊 If you want to, why don't you let me know how you like the game when you have played it yourself?

Trekking through History is on my list as well! 👀
Thank you for another excellent playthrough. You really help me understand the play better. Another one for my collection!
I'm so glad to hear that! 😊

@@gachzorge Yes, you're completely right, it definitely can. And I'm always thankful for corrections like this one! 😊

Oh, cool - I'll keep that suggestion in mind! Also, I can highly recommend the solo mode - it is a lot of fun! 😎
Looks fun! I must play this week. The gameplay vaguely reminds me of hatchlings which is a solo hex puzzle I loved!
Yeah, it's amazing. I'll definitely have to check out Hatchlings! 👀
Hello Sir Thecos, was a nice surprise to find your channel, thank you for this video, already saw some more.
It's great that you found some videos you enjoy - welcome to my channel and this small community! 🙂✌️
I believe the hawks should have been 6 line of site for 20 pts.
Hm, I can't find Hawk #6 - what am I missing? 👀

I stand corrected being the version of the card B vs C
If this were card C then:
DISCARDING THE ELK AT THE VERY TOP
following the hawk at the top of the board (row 1 pos 2), he connects to: row (3 pos 2), = 1
hawk @ (row 3 pos 2 connects to: row 3 pos 4, row 5 pos 1 and row 5 pos 3) = 3
hawk @ (row 5, pos 1 connects to: row 5 pos 3) = 1
hawk @ (row 5 pos 3 connects to: row 3 pos 4) = 1
Yes, that totally makes sense! Thank you so much for putting so much time into your thoughts and explanations! 🙂
I bought a KS pledge from a FLGS after watching your video. :D

Very nice playthrough. This is such a pretty game.
Thank you very much - I really appreciate it! 😊
Yes, it definitely is - I totally fell in love with it. ♥️
