I lived there until I was a teenager and then family moved to the USA thank heavens. I remember so many places from back then: Eatons, Joyners, Woolworths, Providence Hospital, the railroad station, the airdrome, the library and Crescent Park, et al. I went to St. Agnes on North Hill. St. Joseph Catholic Church. I think the brutal cold winters have a lot to do with poor condition of the streets. There was an indoor skating rink downtown and wonder if it’s still there??
Nope. Now we have methheads on main urinating in front of kids, 1300 registered sex offenders placed near schools, and a caution from mjps to stay out of the park just off main after 8pm.
The crushed can got torn many years ago and has been replaced with a strip mall. The city is finally taking initiation for remediation the roads as they should. Winter is a huge factor. It's a booming little city and it's grown in just the past few years.
let's write to the actual immigration pilot plan for this city, hopefully we will be chosen, we are from Brazil
