I love seeing how Mary slaps and pummels her models. I like imaging her doing this to her celebrity clients! The makeup really does seem to melt into the skin. Love to see her use an older model, all these girls look around 20 with naturally glowing skin.
I've seen a short clip of her applying pre-makeup to Cate Blanchett and yes she does the same thing. She massages her face with moisturizer before applying makeup. I guess that's why they book her because they get extra services aside from just putting makeup,

I am re-watching Marys tutorials. She created some of the very best very natural looks. I wished she would still regularly do makeup tutorials with a range of different models.
Love this series with Mary but I wish you guys would adjust the sound levels. I have to constantly adjust my volume. That music you play in between Mary's instructions is just too loud and jarring.
Very grateful to GTG for showcasing Queen Mary, but the production and editing just does not do her justice. The plinky plonky music is totally inappropriate, the 'Step 1' etc slides patronise the viewers, who I am sure just want to watch all the way through without the splicing. and the MTV style blink and you miss it editing is ridiculous! PLEASE just show her doing the make up!!

Nothing wrong with using fingers to apply products, but using a beauty blender takes the finish from good to magical... Since I discovered the egg shape beauty blender, I've never looked back... its simply...magical...

Beautiful makeup. I think she looks orange though. Mary, can you please do a tutoria how to use a bronzer and not look orange. I am surprised you don't use sunscreen under the makeup. Thank you.
It is nearly impossible to use bronzing products on fair skin and not look either too orange or too brown. That is why it is best to build up the products gradually and blend them all together until you feel the color works best for you.
