What a great interview. Say what you will about this man. But his passion for his music rivals almost no other. At the end of the day isn't that what we all want to do or be? Find your passion and live your life with no regrets? Loved it.
I love that he literally steals good parts of great songs and then writes his own song on top of that. Cinema is not the only art of revision, Anton seems to have mastered the artistic 'game' perfectly.
You are so ignorant - go listen to he’s so fine then my sweet lord in fact google the song - then think about how many more original songs that I have written then him, not better, but totally original from anyone - then fuck yourself nobody
thank goodness for the few people like anton...fucking brilliant musician...one in millions..thankful for him being himself at all stages...just saw bjm twice in concert...transcendent...
First punk rocker I ever saw. Trenchcoat, combat boots and a mohawk sitting on a bench at Middle School in Costa Mesa, CA. Kaiser. Later that day I met Snowsy Stell and got introduced to Yellow Jackets and barbituates in the bathroom. Then I met Nate Shaw, who was totally into punk rock and Dungeons and Dragons. He was drawing an Owl Bear. We eventually became fast friends.
he's talkative in a kind way i mean... evry words he says capture my attention, like when listening to good stories. he stand faithfull to what he believe in while the whole world is rotten by making money. I want to hug him and love his Music and Art more.
He mentions the band “Suicide.” Their 1977 album of the same name is very much worth your time. As for the comments, half of them are from angry douchebags.
Nice to know that at least a few people from all of the great pre 2k “Starcleaners” era were able to get the recognition that they should have ... It was obvious that Anton had that “thing” - whatever it is (talent isn’t a viable term because it’s a myth. It’s a combination of understanding balance in the dynamics of composition and sound, paying attention to details, and of course a little luck with who you know and when you know them, among a few other things like the willingness to work and sacrifice for that work) that is required to be successful as a professional songwriter, performer, producer ... and if you listen back to the early self-produced BJTM LPs, you have to include audio engineering, since so much of it has such a great and distinct sound that was caught without the huge studio rooms or gear.
hahahah anyone wondered what anton was singing at the beggining.. i finally found the song its One Way - Cutie Pie.. don't know if he is making fun of the song or he actually likes it.. either way its funny lol
so have i. mental health and tragedies that would kill most people. MOST of his struggles are addiction related. i don't know how i avoided going down that path with the pain i've been through. guess i just don't want to make things worse and you know i've seen what it can do to people. this guy for example. it didn't help his pain, it made it worse. i'm sensitive to it. i've always been able to put myself in someone else's shoes..i guess when you've felt such pain it can give u that ability
it's not that impressive to survive a life and circumstances you mostly did to yourself. it's much more impressive when horrible shit happens to people that aren't self destructive and bring bad shit on themselves with their own actions and they get rhough it. props to him, but there are people just as tough and tougher all over the place.
@@antonfjordson I was tired when I was listening and I didn't get it but I do now lol..... either way love your music and thanks for the music....fan since the 90s
black flag b4 henry rollins? lol. damaged is the best black flag album, sorry bro. my war is the shit too. but i get that he likes the old stuff better. but saying rollins bf isn't good? haha, yeah ok.
Anton Rocks, so honest I love his Raw no SoB stuff.. He mentions Goldfrapp and ( the black eyed pees are another thing, Jimmy Page, even Bowie)...COOL Anton, Man!
Anton is on French TV, u'd never see Him interviewed on American TV, cuz america is weak in real music- that's the giant elephant in the house that no one wants to address..Let's face it, not many of us can even conceive of the idea of being a "rock star", and the baggage that comes with it..

I love Anton's confidence.. he's probably truly right with his claims. Sure would be fun to watch! Good interview.
This guy inspires me like no other...
I could listen to this man forever, funny I was born in 76, my sister 67, so she kinda raised me I can identify with the times he's talking about
its not a shame. without his attitude he wouldnt be where he is.

Anton's acoustic chops are on point

clapton fillmore: 7000 usd, SFR communication
@Benjabola ÞUNGUR HNÍFUR (heavy knife)

Why? They are roughly 2045 times better than the roses.
Don't ever compare yourself to page...that's a sin
You didn’t understand
i love payin money
Jimmy page might give him a run and a wake up call for his money on the acoustic thing
Jimi page isn’t going to walk in a french record shop
