I couldn’t stop crying for hours. The decision was really hard too because if Kanna lived, Sara would get to see an AI of Joe. But if Sou lived, he would’ve hated everyone and Sara would forget about Joe(hopefully she remembers in the next chapter). Also, Sou is my second favorite character, so it would just really hurt to kill him off-

This scene is amazing. But it costs Sou's death. I feel like, while this is the happier choice between Kanna and Sou (Obviously). I feel like Sou's route still has some massive things hidden, maybe the pain and the fact that Sara forgets Joe due to inmense trauma instead of removing her allucinations sounds way more intriguing and has more chances for development. So, basically, I'm not letting Sou die just yet, that bitch better live for a while longer and be the rival he is for Sara. And I hope that Sara eventually gets this type of scene in Sou's route, but I think it's going to be sooo much more satisfying since it'll probably take more to get such a scene.

Safalin saved everyone who died in the trials and Joe was one of the people Safalin saved. Joe woke up in a hospital and his memories came running back to him, he was worried about the others and wanted to know if Sara was ok. Just as he was coming off the bed Joe saw Safalin. I don’t have any idea after this so just imagine Joe was back in the game and escaped with Sara and lived happily ever after.
Making a game does not simply mean creating an appreciable story, but also osts that we know how to touch your heart during the most important moment. And I think yttd has fully succeeded in what he does.

They literally knew each other for like a day, whilst Joe and Sara knew each other for like a year or longer. I didn't feel anything when Kaede died because their bond just felt fake, unlike Joe and Sara. Shuichi got over Kaede's death so quick, whilst Sara was plagued with hallucinations of Joe until Sou activated Joe's AI.
Although I didn't cry during my experience playing, I came very damn close to it. The writing of this game is super good and this scene was honestly so heartbreaking yet encouraging at the same time.
I wish at the end of an important decision like Alice or Reko or Sou or Kanna it told you the percentage of people who chose them because I swear 99% of people chose kanna to live
