He changed his mind about her once he found out she did not betray or reject him willingly! Then he felt guilty that he could not do what that young boy did and possibility of her loving the boy bothers the cop most! So he went after him viciously even though they had enough evidence of self defense! He wanted to get rid of the boy and expected a second chance from her as a reward! He is fucked up too! If I were her, I would not let him near herself! The boy loves her purely, he is extremely smart and will definitely contribute to his society! The cops failed to protect women, if anyone it is their fault what happened, no one else!
