exactly! now we get the bigger picture of the industry: no matter how talented a kpop artist is, if he or she does not know how the proper techniques, intonation, or delivery of their lines, it wouldn't have been that good. that's why many of the best of the best in the industry, also know how to direct a song on their own. those who are only good at singing, really still need a director to guide the process or less, it wouldn't sound as good as the final product.

If you didn't write the song yourself, you wouldn't know which exact emotions are behind each and every word in the song. And it's extremely difficult to write hit singles, not every musician can do that consistently.

They're really flexing here. Their recording was almost exactly like how they sounded in the final product, so their voices needed little to no autotune, unlike other groups whose vocals were covered by sound effects.
No wonder Elisia is the main vocal. Not only she has a poweful voice but her voice when hitting high notes is amazingly stable as well. The pronunciation is also good given she's not Korean. Definitley, the korean accent is already there and can be improved better than ever.
Kotoko learn how to visualize her voice like Elisia 😮, shes uses her hands now to visualize her low and high notes. She didnt do it on UT days, now she is improving like crazy. Thats the big advantage of being a member of UNIS, all of them are talented that you can learn from any member and thier skills.
FR I've been saying this, they're really all prodigies. The reason they improve so damn fast is because almost all of them are all-rounders and aces. The standards are so high between members and they improve together, they carry each others evolution. UNIS literally rising stars, never before seen in Kpop a group of all prodigies.

No wonder she was one of the PD's favorites during her UT days. Her singing, dancing, and visuals are all top-notch. I think she just needs that one song that will make her stand out. Hopefully, we'll see more of her in their next comeback and give her the spotlight she deserves. Gehlee has a remarkable talent that should not be overlooked. Her distinctive and captivating voice brings a unique balance to the team. Hyeonju is a highly experienced and accomplished idol with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of her craft. No wonder why she's the main vocal of her previous group. Kotoko, she really surprised me this comeback. Her improvement is crazy, she sounds so good now. (even during their UT days). She learned how to control her voice and she keeps getting better every day. You can really tell during their live performances. UNIS really heals my inner child. No wonder I am so drawn into this group. I'm into the older generations and I stop fangirling for a while. The producer is very professional and meticulous. Being in there following another persons idea on how to sing something is a humbling experience and I like that kind of character growth for the girls. This shows all the vulnerabilities of the girls and how theyve overcome them. That heros journey is the foundation for an epic "Story". I love them showing Elisia, who is a beast, humbly putting in a lot of work behind the scenes. 8:09 Yoona's vocals is so diverse too... her range is quite wide, it can be soothingly cool like a gentle breeze and it can be high too. Yunha's, Hyoenju's and Yoona's vocals, imo, are so underrated... But what can we do, they all are just so talented.
Honestly, I only learned about Unis a month after their debut after seeing posts about Gehlee here and there, I even thought she's been just hyped...

Then suddenly they showed up and surprisingly piqued my interest in kpop again. I just have a good feeling about this group. This shows all the vulnerabilities of the girls and how theyve overcome them. That heros journey is the foundation for an epic "Story".
I love them showing Elisia, who is a beast, humbly putting in a lot of work behind the scenes. Eli, after seeing this i hope you get some vacation time to recharge your batteries cuz this definitely wasnt easy.
