How to Paint on Chocolate Using Poppy Paint

Most confectionary paints are meant to be used on buttercream and royal icing. When you use these paints on chocolate they bead up or don't provide even coverage. Poppy Paint is versatile and can be used on chocolate as well as buttercream and royal icing. This paint comes in a variety of colors that paint on a matte finish. To achieve a shiny finish, use their super shine top coat once your paint has dried. When using this product, be sure to have a small container of clear alcohol, such as Everclear, to clean your brush out. This paint dries very quickly and your paint brush will need to be cleaned out often. Try out Poppy Paint on your chocolate desserts and let us know what you think!
