Thursday mornings are the best because I get to wake up to a heap of Heather Tracy inspiration!! Off to create some more minis filled to the brim with ideas❤❤ Thank you for that my friend! (and foam for the brush?.... I know I keep saying it... but truly you are a genius!😍)
Pfft...not a genius, (but thank you for being so sweet!) more like DESPERATE for a solution, Ara. I tried a bunch of different stuff, and hated all of it. Thank goodness I had some fun foam lying around: that stuff can masquerade as just about anything! 😅 It's saved my bacon more than once. Yep. xoxo
Thank you so much for your kindness, Neil: I have so much respect for your work, and am so excited to see your channel growing! Thank you for giving us all so much knowledge and providing hours of fascinating content - you are appreciated deeply, my friend. Hugs to you and your precious family! xoxo
I agree distressed is best. It tells you someone's hands swept the hearth, someone poked the fire. For whom? I like the thinking behind the room. The story. 💞
Ahhhh...yes, the story is the thing. The atmosphere is what drives my imagination, and what I'm always attempting to convey. Thank you for seeing that, Susan. xoxo
Fabulous. I can wait to have time to built it, and place to show case all of those amazing projects. Only you can make something classy and grungy at the same time. Thank you so much Heather for the opportunity to be able to built such amazing miniature. xoxo
This makes me SO happy, Chantal! That's the whole point: I want everybody to have as much fun as I do, and getting to share this experience with you is pure gold! Hugs! xoxo
I love that you added the broom! A cheap suggestion for actual bristles is to buy a set of makeup brushes from the dollar store then you can cut them up. I make hair wefts like doll customizers to make mini brushes. It's amazing how many I could make from just a blush brush lol
@@Thicketworks You're welcome I don't know the storyline for Milady but your videos invoke my own storyline she is waiting for the Captain on Ara's videos hehe..xoxo
That's an excellent question, my friend. The reason is simple: although the Maker CAN cut very thick materials, it can't do so with intricate designs - only quite simple profiles. By layering and hardening cardstock, I can achieve both the intricacy of which the machine is capable AND the strength I'm after. This is why I use many layers of thinner materials, rather than 1 layer of something more robust. Hope this makes sense! xoxo
Wow, another brilliant project! The level of detail is amazing! The hi light of my week is getting to watch one of your videos. Each piece you create is such a work of art. Have a fabulous week!
Heather, Heather, Heather, you did it again, HOW DO YOU DO IT!!!!! I just can't keep up! Of course, this is brilliant, what can I say. Will just have to get the files(SVG) Go ahead and cut it out, add it to my do list and maybe sooner or later I can get to it?? At least the files will already be cut :)
Ha! I have no life other than THIS, that's how, Lois! 😅 I like your idea of cutting everything out and having it ready for when you DO have time to play, girl. Yep. xoxo

Absolutely gorgeous Heather! Amazing work, you're such a talented artist and great presenter. Beautiful work.🙂 ❤️
Those tools are so cool. And yeah, the distressing is definitely what takes these to that next level.

Well, dang! That's very kind of you, Morena: thank you! Right back at ya, girl. xoxo
Hi Heather , I’m sure you probably addressed this already but I missed it. Why do you use so many layers , why not use a thicker material?
