The Resistance needs your help! Hidden in the forest outside Black Spire Outpost, the Resistance is gathering recruits for a secret mission.
With the First Order desperate to extinguish the spark of the Resistance, the mission is bound to have unexpected twists and turns. When your transport is captured by an imposing First Order Star Destroyer filled with legions of stormtroopers-and even Kylo Ren!-you’re going to need all the help you can get. Fortunately, a covert team of Resistance fighters-including Rey and BB-8-is at the ready to give you a fighting chance to escape… and a chance for the Resistance to rise.

i was suprised at how hard this ride jerks you back. i was thinking the trackless ride system would be kinda floaty but *NO*. its so damn strong
This ride is very interesting, because you get to see a droid serve as a pilot for you and the other passengers who turn out to be unknown theme park guests who go on vacation with you in Florida which is another state that my parents and I haven't been to at all despite the gator sightings. 🤣
The animatronics are just WOW!

It's a fun ride but when I went, there was a boarding group system. I arrived at the park at 6:05am to reserve my spot in the boarding group system and I got group 130 which is backup group apparently. I was still able to go but I was called at 4:55pm. Still a really cool ride! I'd definitely ride it again when I go back.
Anthony Hui we went the other day and got boarding group #21 with eleven people we were able to get on the ride at 10:30
JapanNumberOne there always will be a boarding group system. I got group 66 or 99. I got called like at 1:30 or 2

I wish they had brought characters from the original trilogy, Like Vader and Yoda to the park. Imagine a ride where you visit Jabbas palace, or Endor. Another missed opportunity, just like the chance of having Han, Luke, and Leia together in one movie. #MissedOpportunites

when you get in the ship or at any point in this ride do you get motion sickness? I’m prone to getting motion sickness but want to ride this so bad. Star tours gets me feeling deathly ill
It's not too bad, it doesn't have as much motion as Star Tours at all. It does jerk around a bit as it drives through the Death Star though.

How do the trackless ride vehicles work?
Disney is using similar systems on Ratatouille and Haunted Mansion at Disneyland Paris. On those rides the electric ride systems follow rfid tags in the floors along multiple routes.
Sharp Productions Haunted Mansion is Paris is still an omnimover, but Ratatouille definitely.
There’s also Pooh’s Hunny Hunt.

I have been on much better rides than this yes it's good ride but not worth getting up at 5 am to b at the park by 630 am and have a delay until 9because it was down. If you ask me Flight of Passage is a hell of a better ride!!!

The boarding group system prevents long lines from happening.
That whole boarding pass and virtual queue thing is so STUPID. Why can't they just load it like an ordinary ride? No other ride in the park has this stupid method of boarding, so why overcomplicate things? So many people don't get to ride this because of this arrangement.
Because the ride is longer than normal, not to mention the pre-show, etc, and also it is a HIGHLY anticipated ride, so it'd be unrealistic and have a hell of a long line. This isn't any ordinary ride, so no ordinary line.

Its almost a perfect ride. Just have to purge Disney fan fiction. Change that worthless excuse wannabe Darth Caedus that Disney called "Kylo" to Vader. And replace everytime "resistance" is uttered to rebellion, and you got one of the best rides ever created. But due to Disney trash fire sequel trilogy theming 80/100. B-

C'mon, Disney would stand out by mixing immersion and unique effects + thrill and FUN. Now it's all about pretty stuff but where is the thrill and the fun? I did not love this. Disney, we are tired of just eye candy (at least I am), we want FUN.
This one has a lot of fun and thrilled to go with it as well such as the 15 ft drop at the end which is actually pretty intense like tower of terror so your opinion is completely wrong!!

Okay, here's my opinion: obviously the technology is breathtaking and all, obviously it is immersive for SW fans but... Disney is focusing too much on the slower sort of ride-through scenery kind of situations. We see that in Navi River, Frozen, even Millennium Falcon (which was hella boring), I would say and soon Ratatouille. This has amazing effects but will never be as fun as Tower of Terror, Everest etc. This was quite disappointing to me. There's no thrill y'know, and they haven't done anything with a thrill for quite a while (and even slowed down Test Track a lot) and if they continue with exclusively this kind of stuff they might fall in the same situation as Universal which abused the use of screens to the point of obscenity. I say this kind of ride is immersive but isn't as fun as some other rides and is being overused, they should mix up a little more.
Trash truck is still the same speed as it was before at 65 miles per hour so you're also wrong at that too!!!
Plus Universal has the new Hagrid's motorbike Adventure which is actually pretty thrilling since its both a dark ride and a roller coaster and I would even say that it's a much better ride in the Harry Potter world than Dragon challenge ever was so your opinion is invalid.
Looks like you just got offended because i criticised anything Star Wars... Lol and what did I ever say about Hagrid's ride? They made it to make up to the highly criticised overuse of screens. And it came out pretty amazing. But Rise of the Resistance won't ever be as fun as Hagrid's :D
@@gisellewright2986 I'm not offended because of you talking trash about Star Wars ride but you need to grow up! Plus Universal has actually gotten better over the years especially there's there coming out with a new highly thrilled Jurassic Park Raptor coaster.
@@gisellewright2986 the Star Wars ride is awesome.it has a lite of great effects is and it is a lot of fun for the family with its mix of screens audio-animatronics and a thrill drop ride it's an amazing ride experience.
I am the only person who believes the ride is void of animatronics and stuff. You see and empty main room when you first exit the loading area -- then you see projections of stormtroopers. Then you see one lowering droid - then you see stationary at-at walkers. Then you see the moving head of Finn and one arm of a shooter - and some more projected stormtroppers. Then you see the interior projection of the at&t as it flashes lights in a disco room --- then you see AA - Kylo & the commander --- then you see a projection of kylo - and his lightsaber cutting down -- then you go under firing guns, down a long corridor - see kylo again and exit. --------------- IMO this ride is lacking "STAR WARS" The at-at should have a leg moving to crush your car - / they should have had a dozen AA stormtropper firing - and they need to have a few scenes - like being in the trash room - and they should have had some droids moving around in the corridors - especially since it is a trackless ride. ----- Additionally with the exception of Rey in the pre-show, there is NOT one female character in the ride ------
