TANJUNG RHU - Zero Tide Phenomenon

Tanjung Rhu Langkawi - 04 March 2022.
The scene of people flocking at Tanjung Rhu, Langkawi, to experience the once-a-year Zero Tide phenomenon that occurs this year on 03 and 04 March.
The zero tide exposes the sandbar that allows people to walk to the nearby small islands (Pulau Chabang and Pulau Kelam Baya) nearly one kilometer away from the Tanjung Rhu Beach.
Siren is sounded to warn people to come back when the tide begins to rise.
This is an exciting phenomenon and an opportunity for photo shoots.
