Mitch's "Playing For Keeps" is my favorite 'workout' song of his. But "Montage" from "Burning Chrome" will always be my favorite. When I first discovered this New-Retrowave music scene back in May 2011, there was a video of that song set to the training montage from Rocky 4 (my favorite movie of all time), and it was just one of many songs/videos I saw initially that made me a fan.
Chaconne - Desires, needs a video set to 80's supermodels walking down the runway, STAT!! I'd say their song "Fashionation" deserves one too, but I have other plans for that one, hehehe.
Great Mixtape, I'll for sure use this one in my next training sesh brah! ;) (trying to sound like an obnoxious 80's jock ;P ) One of my favorite tracks to use in the gym is Dance With the Dead - Watching You. Of course everything by them is just outstanding but Watching you becomes extra powerful when you need that energy boost. Fuck, that track is just too damn good and positive! Edit: Haha and of course Wolf and Raven is a must when training! Before it was a lot of old school deep house, techno and trance but now I'm constantly on the lookout for new and exciting synthwave. Wolf and Raven, Dance with the Dead, Mitch Murder and Myrone are the key factors when I'm training.
I put some of your tracks on one of my physical cassette mixtapes :D Also, how are your casette/vinyl album ideas coming along? You guys reacted on another one of my comments that you had plans to release them on those platforms aswell
