- 🎹 A song I made as a fan project for the VTuber "Pipkin Pippa". After a long time, I was finally able to do some creative stuff again, and I must thank her, first and foremost (I will write and pin a comment below) and although it took me a whole month to finish both the song and the video, it felt really awesome diving into the creative process that I missed so much. Funny that the other original song I have on the channel was also for a V(Virtual)You(Tuber), Kizuna Ai. (Can't believe it was 5 years ago...) Credits and technicalities below.

🎹 Uma música original que fiz para a VTuber "Pipkin Pippa". Estive bastante tempo sem fazer nada criativo, por isso foi fantástico voltar a fazer algo assim, mesmo que me tenha levado um mês a compor a música e o vídeo. A note to the capipis and other viewers about my "objective", which I don't think people will ask, but I'd rather say this beforehand, especially since the spike in viewership after the Henya collab: I am not seeking any sort of "clout" with this, neither do I wish for clicks, subs or any other social-media-related metric. (Or any specific kind of support, for that matter, such as emotional, financial, etc.) There is no point in subbing to me anyway, since I rarely post nowadays and my content is mostly not in English (although I speak it) though I will read and appreciate any sort of criticism regarding this work, be it positive or negative, and I welcome a like as a means of understanding that people enjoyed (or not) what I produced, since I might do something like this in the future. (I do not mind readjusting some of my "creative vision" to others' liking.) You can interpret the publishing of this work as a donation to Pippa. I've never donated to any streamer (not gonna go in-depth as to why, I'll just say I literally can't, but I do respect people who do) so I can only expect this can be seen as a valid one. In the end, I was going to do this for myself anyway, but I learned that there is no point in dwelling in creative works if you are not going to share anything with other people because (and I say this as someone who has been VERY anti-social years ago) if you just keep them closed from the world, all creations become emptiness. Alright, this is "mucho texto" by now, I just hope people (but mainly Pippa, of course, I won't pretend otherwise) will receive this somewhat well and that I do not come across as a "jerk" for this long explanation. First of all, I want to give a BIG Thank you to Pipkin Pippa (a.k.a.: Peeba, Pippers, Shipkin Shippa, PIPPA-CHAN!!, Yabbit(formerly), FLaVR's CEO (away from office), Philippa, Chicken Pizza, Mite, Colress'#1 Fan, etc.) because you (unknowingly) gave me the push/inspiration I needed to break out of my 2+ year creativity hiatus/slump. Having a creative outlet was something I was really missing in my life, but I stopped realizing it at some point, and couldn't bring myself to reach for it... (I had to move home 3 times in 1-ish years, which definitely did not help either) So, when I recently found myself playing the Keyboard/"piano" again, it felt like a part of me had been brought back to life. And so, after a month, this got made. :D
I don't have a logical reason to give as to why it happened the way it did. I just started watching your lives around March of this year (using my phone's alt youtube account, which is the one I comment with too, but I'd rather not "dox" it for now) and at the time, it was just about watching this new, different content. I wasn't thinking of commenting on clip videos, vods, or getting invested in anyway at that time. I hadn't really watched VTubers in the past (aside from Kizuna Ai and Nekomiya Hinata, but that was like 5 years ago) and it wasn't the fact that you are a VTuber that made me start watching you (although I still think you do have one of the better looking and most expressive models around) I just thought you have a fun personality, are surprisingly relatable and have very BASED takes, which seems so rare in these days of copy/pasted "go with the flow" NPC behavior. (And also because I, and clearly tens of thousands of people, feel/know that behind your "guns-blazing persona" is a really sweet soul, but I'll stop there to avoid sounding parasocial (I remember that video of yours addressing the parasocial stuff, mad respects for that!) and because you don't like "corny" stuff :P)
Looking back one month, I think what motivated me was feeling that I needed to give something back to you for all the moments you shared. But I didn't have X,00$ to donate, so I thought, maybe... I could "donate" a song? (Since I was "riding the wave" of creativity again.) Although I did not know what the song would be like at the time. In fact, my first idea was a "Pippa the Ripper" instrumental cover (haha... glad I did not go with that one, huh? xD) but I guess the "stars aligned" or something, because then that watchalong vod came up, and when you started singing about the melon bun that you were having, the "neurons activated" and my brain was like: "This is it!!". So yeah, here it is now. I hope you like it, and hope you can continue doing what you like and keep being you, Pippa.

Hmmm, to be honest, I don't give much attention to it these days, like, the video has actually been recommended to me too, so I sometimes see the view increase, but I just go like "oh, people are still listening, nice!". Because I remember 4 years ago or so, when I was paying attention to the numbers/metrics (was kind of obsessed at some point, checking socialblades etc. and even made a video celebrating 50 subs lol) and looking back to it, the only thing it did for me was burdening me. I thought they had no melon favor but is the look that makes it melon
I'm not sure which type she had, but when I visited japan, in 2019, I tried two types of "Melon Pan": the "staple" that appears many times in anime (the basic yellow-ish one with the squared bumps), which feels like it is just slightly melon flavored, AND the BEST one, in my opinion, which is an actual bun with a thick green layer outside and orange cream inside, and it tastes like melon a lot, its really good. :P (We bought those from Family Mart, I think.)
The more I listen, the cuter it sounds.

I'm sure if you keep at it, you will create something you will be proud of. To be fair, I'd say 95% of my projects are crap lol, sometimes it really is just a matter of a "moment of inspiration" you have one day, and you go from there. I see you use FL Studio too, which is in my opinion the best one for composing, so that is already great, and from what I listened on a music on your channel, you seem to make the drum track part really well. As someone said recently to me, the better works are always made when you are having fun, so try to have fun with it and don't give up! :D
