I have a crush on my best friend and we’re both really close to the extent that we tell people we’re related. I started falling for his quirks overtime and it’s been a year already. He treats me differently from other girls by sending me home from school and fetched me to school as well. He’d even lend me his jacket to use even if I’m not feeling cold. He has guy friends who he spends a lot of time with, but still chose to ask me during the weekends instead of them. He even let me play with his hair whenever I’m bored and doesn’t offer this to others even if they asked.
Now that we’re both in different classes in school and that we have online classes instead, I barely hang out with him. But, we text almost everyday. He’s not the kind to take selfies (like he gave me his password to his phone, I’ve seen his galleries, aint no selfies) but he would casually send some to me over text. My favourite conversation of us would be me showing a screenshot of my conversation with my current classmate and he questioned the background of the chat (which is a picture of a famous youtuber’s baby brother) and less than an hour later, he bombarded me with a picture of his little baby brother.
I can’t tell if he has a crush on me or if he simply cares for me. It’s in-between and it’s bothering me. I want to confess, but I’m scared to ruin what I’ve spent a year building up with him.

Well everyone is sharing their stories. Before my crush even knew I liked him we got shipped... a lot. Then he texted me and asked me if I liked him because everyone was assuming I did. I didn’t tell him that time but over the weekend we kept texting and he kept asking me. Finally he asked me one night and he said “do you like me because I like you” and so I told him and a few days later we decided to be together. We have been together for 4 days (ikr weak... haha) but it feels like weeks. We have assigned seating in class and he sits next to me which isn’t bad. A few days ago we were texting and he told me to listen to a song (girls like you by maroon 5 ft cardi b) and said it was for me. He’s so nice. He also said I’m the nicest girl he’s met. I’m happy 😊. For anyone wondering what to do to try get your crush to like you I suggest just being yourself and trying to become friends with him. (Or her). Sometimes joke around like say (your spelling is bad or something relevant to the situation) but in the end be nice to them. Number one though is definitely still be yourself (ik I’ve already said that). Good luck everyone! :)

Okay so... it was math class. And I sat next to my crush, since our class setup was in groups. One time we were talking (this was before I told him that I loved him) and we just stared at each other. For almost 4 to 5 seconds straight. My heart started beating quicker when I noticed this, so I quickly looked away. I was thinking about that the rest of the day.
Other things that happened was that he’d always stand next to me in line. Try to sit with me during lunch. He would stammer a bit when he’d talk to me, and start laughing whenever he did. But it was more of a... nervous laugh. We’d play this game to see how many times can we pat each other’s head (yeah, I know. Very stupid). One time he booped my nose and smiled hysterically. I’m a darker skin tone, so you can’t really tell when I’m blushing. But I was sure I was blushing right then and there.
