I always considered this the cannon version. I know its cannon that Sam kills Lambert ( I.E version 1) bit my head cannon is that sam is the one who kills him in version 2 off screen.
Yeah it was kind of big transition for me since the game b4 conviction that i played was Chaos Theory. From complete ghost at expert level to John Wick was a big transition. The game was good not great but good 7.5 or 8 out of 10 . The problem with ubisoft game lovers are that they only want those sterotypical way of narration and mechanic and always hated new concepts for e.g AC rogue , Far cry primal
Expectations vs reality Expectations Sam: goodnight *knees guard in the back Guard: *knocked out* Reality Sam: goodnight *knees in the back* Guard: *falls on ground* OW! What the hell!? Sam: weird that usually knocks people out
I honestly appreciated all versions of this game. While the XBox 360 version was better in gameplay, the PS2 version provided much better context. I remember feeling the stress as a double agent when playing the old gen version but not so much playing the newer version. I didn’t play the PSP version but I streamed it. Looking back after more of a decade, I think I came to understand what UBI soft was shooting for. For those of us who love the splinter cell franchise and can appreciate double agent (despite it didn’t do well with critics and market), this gave us more story about Sam Fisher than all the installments combined. These 3 versions gave us a different glimpse of Sam Fisher and made us put the pieces together. I’ll always praise this as one of the most underrated games. Not to mention, the soundtrack brilliantly made from Michael McCann sky ring in my head to this day…
The best double agent version. I think the Xbox 360 story is way more boring. I prefer the Xbox 1 story line. I love the fact that after he lost his daughter, he loses his Girlfriend. It's like he can't protect the girls he love, it's like he can't be happy and the splinter cell series become darker , and liked it. In Xbox 360 there's no love story between fisher and villablanca. And Sam turned into a rogue without knowing really why. Instead of the Xbox double agent storyline where's could understand why Sam is mad at third echelon. I really don't know why they changed the story after the Xbox.
I remember getting this on xbox360 after church and unfortunately my brother steals alot he stole my Xbox my games controllers and laptop and said he sold them to a pawnshop to buy soap I never finished this game but I always wondered how it ended
Enrica, man. I was so sad when she died. She was the first woman Sam loved since Regan (Sarah's mom). She had real potential.
I prefer her here than the ps3/360 version were she's framed and killed by emile
Ah, the better version of Splinter Cell Double Agent, thanks!!!
Version 2

Splinter Cell is the GOAT of Tom Clancy
Splinter Cell Conviction is my favorite splinter cell game, I hope it's possible for it to be remastered.
Knowing ubisoft, not anytime soon ...

Yes it's really good. It brought back so many memories
ah, this was perfect 🤙
it'd be real cool if you did all versions 😏
It's Moss. Fisher is DONE!!!
OH SHOOT MOOSE IS HERE
It’s Moss. Get it right or pay the price.
42:48, the guard looked right at fisher for a good 2 seconds then looked away, looooool🤣🤣
Man knew what he saw. He just hoped sam wouldn’t notice.

Please do Elden Ring!!
I don't remember it starting like this?
wait... there's a different version of this game? What the fuck?!
WHERE IS ELDEN RING?...everyone finished it!!!!
Conviction was great, but Double Agent was a buggy mess! How were you able to play through without running into all the invisible walls?
Not this version!
@@yutro213 The PC port was absolutely horrible.. would LOVE a remaster of the series.
You can just download the one from the ubisoft store because it has a patch
Doble agent is the best game
