Before I became brain dead I used to write Haiku. Took a course on zen and Japanese culture at that time it was fun. There’s a certain enchantment to all things Japanese. I don’t like the new version of Shogun it was cinematically nice but too soap opera like. It’s a poor depiction of bushido. The original one was better but maybe because I was younger and less critical plus I really liked Chamberlin. Looking forward to your narrative
I love your locality stories. Your spa in Bali,( if I'm remembering correctly) was terrific, but I like these mini vacations .💚 How do you research to write them? Did you go to Japan?
