My ancestors built Roslin Chapel. I've tried to connect my lines with WilliamWallace, but get stumped at a Robert Wallace and can't go further back. Oh well, we are Wallace and we have Scottish blood. I live in America.
@@ViewingScotland unfortunately not also the only direct access from Westfield to here on foot is to cross the river avon and there are crossing point outside of Westfield one you have shown in this great video

That's not Wallace's Cave so I am not surprised you were underwhelmed, the real Wallace's Cave is 100 feet above the river with a long set of stone steps that descend to the cave, the cave is long and dark. This shows you the real cave - th-cam.com/video/ZdHsi-Rn98k/w-d-xo.html
Hello. The link you took me too was at Roslyn, where another cave of Wallace's is. This is the West Lothian one, where he went to after his defeat at Falkirk. The link you took me to, was about 35 miles of a difference in distance. Take care.
Also, just to add further fuel onto the fire here. There is also a Wallace's cave in the borders of Scotland also. There wasn't just one cave associated to him. 😉
I've lived in West Lothian most of my life and I feel ashamed that I have never visited Wallace's Cave before. Thank you for sharing. (New Subscriber)
I lived in WL for 14 years at that point and hadn't known about it either, until I was doing some research. It's pretty cool to see

The real (best) Wallace Cave is on the River Clyde, below Lanark (where he lived, lost his wife and killed the Sheriff)
