Thank you, I would even argue in LoL that simple champs are harder than complex champs. If a champ has a lot of outplay potential unless they are faced with an opponent playing perfectly they can mess up part of their outplay and still be fine, a simple champ only really has 1-2 ways to outplay you and 1 of them is playing around vision which all champs can do. Complex champs can often outplay you in numerous ways or escape punishment for their mistakes, Akali is the perfect example. Akali has 3 dashes, a slow, with flash she has 4 dashes, and an invisibility that restores energy allowing for more dash opportunities. If Akali makes a mistake she can recover with relative ease even if her lane is harder for said mistake. Now compare that to say a Yi, what mobility does Yi have? A targeted strike that prevents him from being targeted for a second and his R which allows him to run away. If Yi makes a mistake odds are he dies, there is no shroud to save him and any champ with sticking power will be able to catch his R. Maybe if he has Q he could Q a jg camp over a wall, but that is extremely situational and requires vision of said camp. From someone who has started playing league this year and has seen days worth of content, this is my fav video, gj Petu, and thank you for the positivity !
This is exactly the reason why I enjoy watching your content. It is ultra refreshing to see someone playing the game and enjoying it and laughing his ass off. Never getting tilted about anything, not even stupid teammates that steal farm. Also River Shen
I feel exactly this but I am a support main so my case was Leona-Bard. I really liked stun locking my opponent while staying alive and making my way out with 10 hp, that braught me joy when playing leona. And then bard came. I can stasis up to 5 opponents, set up fights and all that while I have one of the best escape kits in whole league. Thanks for this video, it really shows how league can be fun, even if people thing otherwise
This is the best league of legends video i have seen so far, out of all the content creators i watch. there's something special about Petu making videos, i can tell that he loves it and he's having fun.
YEEEEEEEES!!! I starting playing Shen because of your videos and I love him, but I've been a Trynda main for 4 years. So excited to watch this video and to know that you enjoyed playing with him.
Been playing Shen even before his rework. I just really love the champ, but there are times when i feel helpless when my team is underperforming. because Shen is extremely team-reliant in my opinion. Shen (We) need to play around our team by design because of his ultimate. Shen just isn't a super carry champ for example Irelia or Camille. So what i want to ask is why did u start to play Shen when you already main Tryndamere, a champ with 1v9 potential?
with all the burnout I've seen my favorite content creators go through over the last few years, it makes me really happy to hear the genuine joy in your voice when talking about this game in this video. Thank you for making this.
Finally Trynda I waited a year for this! stopped playing LoL but still watch you Petu. You learn so much about macro and micro behaviour of players. You learn to play psychologically with Trynda. Big thanks to N3ACE who showed me da Way to breach.
this was so wholesome! ive taken a break from league cause i would get so frustrated by the game i literally forgot under all the competitiveness thats its a game and the main goal is having fun! thx xpetu! love ur content
Man I remember playing back then in season 4 and I absolutely despised tryndamere. I wanted a pocket pick to smash him, I checked a website called lolcounter and it said that Shen was its main counter and I started spamming him. Btw love how passionate you are about the game, It's so fun to watch you play
As a Janna player, you usually want to use your q at the same direction you plan to kite or escape so it’s harder to dodge. There are so many similar mechanics in League which seems to be a skilled play for an other player but it’s pretty common for the OTPs. It’s always fun to get to know these plays and understand the game even better this way in my opinion. Her movement is amazing tho. I hope i could say something new since i have learnt so many from you. Amazing video btw:)
I like this video. Having fun is the most important thing for any game. Probably the only reason I stuck with league is because I can get BIG and BIGGER and literally stomp and chomp people with Cho'gath :)
Earlier, I saw one of your videos for the first time tonight. (Thank the TH-cam algorithm?) I GREATLY appreciate how you articulate (which gives extreme clarity in comparison to others on this platform) and walk us through your thought processes, (as it brings a lot more light to the actual game-play). This is the 3rd video I've watched. Through your advice (and epic articulation), I want to not only main tryn now (I've been playing since season 2 maining garen, cho, vlad, and jayce achieving only diamond 5, all while watching streamers and never allowing them to influence my champ select), I am leaving the longest comment, BY FAR, on any given watched video ever. I've subscribed in record time as well, closest being about 20 vids over a span of 3 weeks. I appologize for the run-on sentences/rant, but i felt i needed to get an important point across. Your content is extremely appealing all while teaching an aspect of something, which is, what I assume, any great educator strives to accomplish. P.s. if i had know there were instructors like you at harvard, i would have DEFINITLEY attended during my collegiate years. Thank you, A now faithful viewer

You're doing a superb job , please keep with this and never doubt your ideas because they are brilliant . Thank you for providing us with such quality content !
I actually waited three day to get the perfect opportunity to watch the video whole and boy was it worth it, this is so enjoyable and I absolutely love it. My grain of sand for having fun: /mute all is always there and if you feel like chilling it's always a good ol' friend to skip the drama
Hi I just wanted to say I really like your humor and style, this was the first and only video of yours I have seen so far but I'm glad I clicked! Also I am pleased to be aware of the Finnish concept of Sisu now...this will be helpful when explaining why I pick some of the fights I pick in my matches lol. Subbed!
I sincerely love this series and I love your content and personality in general, you are always so damn entertaining, a good sport and positive, you have changed my outlook a lot on league. This video is by far one of your best so far but so many are so good, it's the way you put it together, all the effort we can see to make it uniquely your own. I will try to tune into the stream sometime, thanks for the amazing content as always Petu, truly, I look forward to every video you release so keep em coming! Maybe a role swap climb for end of season, or next season? i'd love to see that from you! but i'm sure i'll enjoy whatever you put out. Thanks for being an upstanding guy in a gaming community where toxicity is what's normal, and almost encouraged/designed around.
It's honestly so rewarding to E in and smash tf outta enemies as Trynd after a couple of bad Shen games. I love my ninja boi but he doesn't split and force enemy responses like Trynd does in the mid-late game
This is easily my favorite series of yours, I find myself learning SO much about champs I've struggled with in the past, and even about champs I already play. This series is super educational and it's awesome watching you start at nothing and work your way up to being really good at a champ. If you take requests, I feel like it'd be amazing to see you play a week of Kled and report back with how it goes, I feel like it'd be really funny watching you play a character who's very design demands that you charge in and go balls to the wall
DAMN! You made one for our Tryndamere mains! Big respect from a D2 trynda main right here. The tech is awesome 😀😀😀 I swear by just right clicking you are better than 90% of tryndamere players already haha
A genuine documentary. I like your passion and enthusiasm for the game. I don’t know the exact definition of sisu but I definitely am going all in in all of my games. I love having fun.
Petu : When people think about tryndamere, they think right click no brain gameplay Petu : When I think of tryndamere, I think rightclick no brain game play that got me so hard laughing xd 😂😂😂 I love you xPetu keep up your good content and stay united 😉
It's the same with a lot of champions. Shen has s very easy to grasp kit, but his trading patterns and utilising passive shield mechanics are soo specific and intricate that makes a difference between ordinary shen player and a player like you who kills his opponents level 2-3 every game. Tryndamere is not just about mechanics, he has his own playstyle and is far from a simplistic champion.
I'd love to see how do you fare playing Lillia for a while. I main Lillia, Darius and now Tahm Kench and I can literally feel how my gameplay has improved by playing Lillia. I can dodge better, I can kite better, I can bait better. I play better because of Lillia and I'd love to see you try her in this series.
How are you dodging better because Lilia? I mean, as Lilia is quite is yo dodge since you run at mach 5 arround the rift, but cant see how she made you improve that
@@Artyohm_ The thing with Lillia is that yeah, she has an easier time dodging, but the second you don't dodge you just fucking die. On Darius for example now I know how to dodge, I know how to bait abilities, I know how to predict skillshots and while I won't be dodging every mystic shot I will dodge enough slows and CC to get my 5 stack and win the fight. On Tahm Kench I can kite in melee with the slows on his kit and the extra range of Frostfire. I land my Q- Auto and walk just slightly away so the Darius or Camille have to E me if they want a counterattack or burn their Q/W thinking I'm going away while in reality I'm just waiting for my auto to be back up. It's especially noticeable in ARAMs, mid or in botlane where I play really aggro against heavy skillshot lanes and still don't get hit. . . Usually. . . Not enough to lose anyway. Sorry for the text wall.
Petu, you have no idea as a Tryn main how happy this vid makes me... I love your vids, and you make me wanna play shen, my main 3 champs i play rn top are tryn, shen and cho as im "boot camping" my way back into solo q. I work m-f long days so i only play the weekends and im a bit rusty so seeing you talk about the stuff i recognize from playing shen after tryn is a confidence boost to my progression lately.
played dota for what, 4 years, then switched to league and it was like a fresh new perspective, dota imo is too heavy of a game, in many ways, and league is just smoother, faster, and it makes me feel unrestrained. In some ways, playing trynd is just like that, you can just freely go ungabunga into the enemy team and have fun.
Man ive been watching you like for a year. Damn i love your energy and positivity. My life is really rough for me lately but on this video i couldnt stop smiling. I just wanted to say thank you. Do what you do man. Much love
I met a guy who claimed that he knows you personally from the military, was he speaking the truth? He plays Draven and his accent was definetly Finnish.
Easily one of the best videos you made, made quite a nice points. Also when I started playing I picked up trynd because he was a viking with a large sword, but I got hooked by his kit (VERY SIMPLE, BUT FUN), like you say there is a massive difference between a good trynda and a bad one, I couldn't figure what it was for the life of me, when the years passed I figured the game was much more than clicking on the enemy in lane and killing him over and over, you also have to play for objectives, try to help your team, and fortify your mental stability to try to carry every game (even if you are against a jungler that camps you or teammate that rages). Also you made an interesting point about playing chicken with your R, that's one of the core things about Trynda that I find fun, see how much you can hold it before pressing, or calculating the damage to not waste it on an ability that won't kill you. All in all a very nice video, sorry for the very extensive comment, but this video really deserves praise. thanks and stay safe
Having played both league and dota, can confidently say that the reason i picked league in the end was how smooth the game felt. Also i would love to hear more of your thoughts on skill expression, feel like there’s a lot of potential in that topic :)
Finally a non-trynd-otp shows some respect to trynd, I completely agree with what you said, and as a trynd player myself I would add that one of his weaknesses is the lack of outplay potential. The outplays you can perform are usually from flash or galeforce (available for all), and you usually rely on outdamaging the opponent while trying to stick to him. People think that trynd players right-click to win and abuse his damage, the reality is that you can basically only do that, no flashy mechanics, no infinite stacks, no executes, no 500-words passive, but I don't think he needs a rework, and I don't think any trynd player wants that. He should remain the simple champion, easy to f*ck up others if played accordingly, easy to be f*cked up by others in early if not.
Love you petu. Road to rank 1 I only wanted to see shen, but you did a good job on this series. makes me want to see who you're going to try next. got me guessing every time. keep it rolling sensei
Hi Petu! Really great video, probably one of your best so far (if not the best)! I never write comments, but I figured because of the effort you put into this video, and the pure enjoyment I got out of it, it definitely warrants one! I loved how you created clear and fluid segments in the video, paired together with gameplay that matched the voiceover which lead to a really pleasurable watching experience. Perhaps the biggest (in my opinion) positive aspect of this video was your personal touch. Perhaps it seems a bit vague to you (having created the video), but browsing through countless videos of LoL content that all follow the same, exhausted mold of "entertainment", yours comes as a breath of fresh air. Keep on doing what you are doing. Your own ideas are unique to you (obviously, one might say), but few content creators actually trust their own judgement, but instead lean on a tried and tested model for content creation that worked once, but since has become mundane. Trust your own judgement and you'll continue to gain viewers that actually last, in comparison to one hit wonders with a lifespan as microscopic as the creativity of their content. If I may offer a piece of criticism, it was the absence of music during your videos. If I were to guess, you might simply prefer it to playing something that has been heard a million times over. If you feel like adding music may detract from your creative process or from the video as a whole, you should definitely not include it! However, adding music can be a very powerful tool in creating videos that become increasingly captivating and interesting. Thank for sharing you hobby with us, really looking forward to seeing what next you have up your sleeve :)
Your explanation of auto attacking and it's importance made me ponder what it is that I like about Shen, since I personally don't like how kiting / auto attacking with movement works in league, although I'm plenty capable of utilizing it, as someone who played many years of DotA 2 before ever playing league. I think I just love the cool "I have your back" moments of ulting to your ally and turning the tide of a fight. Loved the video, and look forward to your next!
I’m of the grasp bruiser tryndamere main variety, stride breaker every game kinda tryndamere player.. I love it, you have made me want to run it down and learn even more about my champion
Petu I'm here surfing through your videos and I've become more and more worried about your break from uploading new ones. Your story telling and positive fibes are too much fun to not exist here in youtube. I don't even play the game but I can still enjoy the simple mechanics of tryndamere through this video and appreciate the journey to sword master.
Incredible video, Petu. I agree too many people get caught up trying to climb abd ignore the fact that it's a game. It's supposed to be enjoyable! Also as a Neeko main I wholeheartedly agree right clicking and autoing is very fun
Coming back to this to say that it gave me a fresh perspective on a champion I've long considered outdated and toxic to the game, and more appreciation for players who focus on extreme micro and macro play.
Hey Petu, big fan here from Brazil. Shen is also my main and at the beggining of the video I had my doubts. But I honestely agreed with wath you said and see league at the very same perspective. Amazing video!
I can agree with you whole heartedly on the auto attacking thing. I've been play a lot of teemo jungle for some reason recently and its just so much fun kiting out camps and opponents. Should probably pick up kindred or something so that I'm not lowkey trolling my friends games
Thank you so much for making this exist Petu. This video and message helped me understand even furthermore the true face, soul and sensations I love about this game
Mr. Petu, I would like to let you know that your league content is the most enjoyable content I’ve found since playing the game beginning in season 3. Much appreciation.
I am so happy that this guy came into my recommend! I’ve never laughed so hard and enjoyed anyone show me the ropes to league in such a long time. Thank you xPetu
Mate I am kinda glad for this video. Because I went from Thresh support, to Nasus top, to Nautilus support and suddenly I became a Trynadamere in the jungle. I mean I go top trynda sometimes and swap between Nunu, Zac, Ornn, Trundle and Trynda in the jungle. But I will probably keep playing Trynda more than anyone else. Also Trynda jungle is hilarious.
As someone that was ranked 1 shen. I enjoyed your videos. Then I got ranked 1 kayle and hecarim. So I then played tryn but, with a shen style, and won 95% of my games. I can't wait for more tryn videos from you.
Hi xPetu. I have been playing Tryndamere for 2 years now. I have about 1.5m mastery with this champion. Lately I have not been enjoying League of Legends and feel like I have lost touch with everything you have talked about in this video. I am very grateful that you made this video because it helped me to ultimately understand why I play this game. You have inspired me to keep on improving in life as a whole from this video. Thank you. You have done a great thing here.
I hope xpetu sees this… dude I love your content. I’m an Irelia one trick since season 4. Pre rework and the new one. And shen is my backup when she is banned. After you tried and tryn and explained how much you enjoy your play I HIGHLY recommend trying irelia. I have found that a lot of irelia mains love shen a lot. And I’m curious to see if shen mains would find as much appeal in irelia too. Her gameplay is so fun and engaging.
As a Trynd onetrick, I love this video. Tryndamere is basically the opposite of Kassadin in that Kassadin is very hard to survive on but one you do it's a steam roll that is extremely easy. Meanwhile, Tryndamere is very easy to have impact on the game because all you need to do to have impact is to press r, but to carry on tryndamere requires near perfect macro and patience. As for the "unskilled" parts, champions like Qiyana, Akali, Gwen have much longer invincibilities and there are loads of champs that have much more unfair mechanics than "press r ghost right click". I would much rather be on the receiving end of a Tryndamere. I hope Riot makes more unskilled champs like tryndamere.
I honestly think this is one of the best videos I have ever made. I spent multiple weeks thinking about the composition. If you want to see more videos like this, please show your appreciation by liking the video (it actually helps out a ton).

Didn't expect Petu to start playing Guts toplane
From someone who has started playing league this year and has seen days worth of content, this is my fav video, gj Petu, and thank you for the positivity !
Oh no
Leave before your heart and soul are purged
Pro tip mute /all and team chat and train to not get angry if things dont go as planned which will happen 90% of the time. Also dont get addicted
If you're in to positive videos, I recommend Pianta's video wholesome league of legends.

League is a fun game if you take it with the right mentality
Enjoy it
Petu's comedic tone was so on point throughout this video. I had a great time, as always. Thank you for the content. River Shen.
As a Nautilus main the 10hp escape after a huge play is the best!
As a rakan main I love baiting my teammates into crappy fights and then fcking off
League not fun , bad comment
this is why I like AP shaco tbh. Although I dont like the jg role much he makes it fun (well for my team).
My man, I main Leona for the same reason.
That and locking the fed enemy for an hour while my team kills them
18:39 perfectly cut scream made my day
lmao
That was... fear.
The sincerity of this human makes my heart happy
11:15 "Kinda big right now". That’s not overconfidence, that’s Lulu’s ultimate =P
This is the best league of legends video i have seen so far, out of all the content creators i watch. there's something special about Petu making videos, i can tell that he loves it and he's having fun.
Petu IRL probably one of the chilliest homies you could ever have. Great content as always.
This actually has to be on my top favorites list of League videos of all time.
This one really hit home.
You're brilliant petu, truly.
Finally Trynda I waited a year for this! stopped playing LoL but still watch you Petu. You learn so much about macro and micro behaviour of players. You learn to play psychologically with Trynda. Big thanks to N3ACE who showed me da Way to breach.
this was so wholesome! ive taken a break from league cause i would get so frustrated by the game
i literally forgot under all the competitiveness thats its a game and the main goal is having fun!
thx xpetu! love ur content
Men I’m French and I love watching ur videos and I think this is one of the best video u have made ! You are so inspirational with ur mentality ! ❤️
Why are you French?
@@deznal227 why are you?
Thank you,
A now faithful viewer
Honestly even watching this late I still love how you just teach us to enjoy the game.
I always knew you are a really intelligent person because I can feel it . Only by hearing your voice and the way you talk I know youre a great person and lovely to be around with .
You're doing a superb job , please keep with this and never doubt your ideas because they are brilliant . Thank you for providing us with such quality content !
Its 9:00 am in argentina and i just awake and the first video that appears is this, thanks o lord PETU ♥
I actually waited three day to get the perfect opportunity to watch the video whole and boy was it worth it, this is so enjoyable and I absolutely love it.
My grain of sand for having fun: /mute all is always there and if you feel like chilling it's always a good ol' friend to skip the drama
Hi
I just wanted to say I really like your humor and style, this was the first and only video of yours I have seen so far but I'm glad I clicked! Also I am pleased to be aware of the Finnish concept of Sisu now...this will be helpful when explaining why I pick some of the fights I pick in my matches lol.
Subbed!
0:21 This sound will always stick in my head now everytime when any Tryndamere will use his R
Hearing xPetu raging and saying "FUUUUU" with a perfectly cut scream made my day. Bless you 😂
I sincerely love this series and I love your content and personality in general, you are always so damn entertaining, a good sport and positive, you have changed my outlook a lot on league.
It’s always a nice feeling when you “learn” a new champion.
I’ve been a top lane player for a long time and moving to mid lane was such a blast.
Idk why but I was laughing my ass off at how casually you stole the golems from Rek'Sai at 5:19 - too good.
Love your commentary Mr. Petu. You bonked them out of this galaxy! As always ❤️❤️❤️ :)
As a Trynda One Trick that tries to pick Shen as a second pick for two years now, I feel you
It's honestly so rewarding to E in and smash tf outta enemies as Trynd after a couple of bad Shen games.
This is one of your best videos.
Love the positivity petu and completely agree with the conclusions of this video
Petu : When people think about tryndamere, they think right click no brain gameplay
Petu : When I think of tryndamere, I think rightclick no brain game play
that got me so hard laughing xd 😂😂😂 I love you xPetu keep up your good content and stay united 😉
Hands down u make the best content for LoL. Your enjoyment for the game shines through. Well done. Also
The end of the clip that begins at 18:10 had me actually laugh out loud. Thanks for another great video, hero!
This is one of the most inspiring League videos I have ever seen and I have been playing since Season 2. Thanks Petu you are rad
In a way it makes sense that you struggle vs Shen. Since you always play him, he's the champ you have the least experience playing against.
He liked every comment except for this one lmao
@@Liam-iq6qe I suppose I got rolled lmao. I mean it was worth an ask.
Wow. Entertaining content, good and uplifting message. Nice training footage clips. Best video I’ve seen in a while.
Don’t be delusional, just press E,RC,RC,RC,E,R,RC,RC,RC,E,Q

Wow petu beautiful video, a gorgeous composition, masterfully executed, can't wait to see more
The montage music brings me back to old school wow pvp vids. Even tho it's a league song. Good vid xPetu.
Petu is just such a nice guy. He just talks in such a kind and calming manner its really fantastic.
Also as a Neeko main I wholeheartedly agree right clicking and autoing is very fun
you are such a positive content creator and its lovely to see you play off your own shen meta
Amazing video!
i love the pentakill edit ... its actually the only band i listen to while playing. ! love
ive played udyr for about 7 years for pretty much the exact same reasons you liked tryndamere. dope vod
I can agree with you whole heartedly on the auto attacking thing. I've been play a lot of teemo jungle for some reason recently and its just so much fun kiting out camps and opponents. Should probably pick up kindred or something so that I'm not lowkey trolling my friends games
Such amazing content. Love how much fun you're clearly having.
Hilarious opening my dude! Keep up the awesome vids :)
I've really been digging the content recently fam, keep it up!
You speak so nice about this game, and you are so calm and relaxed.. I really like this.
I really love this types of videos, and I love more to see xPetu having fun again in league
Thank you so much for making this exist Petu. This video and message helped me understand even furthermore the true face, soul and sensations I love about this game
Mr. Petu, I would like to let you know that your league content is the most enjoyable content I’ve found since playing the game beginning in season 3. Much appreciation.
Absolutely love these, please keep them coming
And feature all the times you got jumpscared
I am so happy that this guy came into my recommend! I’ve never laughed so hard and enjoyed anyone show me the ropes to league in such a long time. Thank you xPetu
Mate I am kinda glad for this video. Because I went from Thresh support, to Nasus top, to Nautilus support and suddenly I became a Trynadamere in the jungle. I mean I go top trynda sometimes and swap between Nunu, Zac, Ornn, Trundle and Trynda in the jungle. But I will probably keep playing Trynda more than anyone else. Also Trynda jungle is hilarious.
Great content! You deserve more viewers for sure, hugely underrated channel, keep it up!
GJ xPetu. This is one of my fav videos of yours. Really enjoyed the watch. I thank you.
I gotta say, I've been enjoying your videos a lot, but damn the editing on this video was so good. Massive respect.
5:17 casually walks up and steals big krug for stealing the kill 😂
I watched a guide and tried Tryndamere, you are so right, Tryndamere is so fun and brings out the magic of this game.
Dude, what a BANGER of a video!!! As a main trynd, I tip my hat to you sir!
Great video man. This reminds me of the four old days when I first became a gamer. Video reminds me of my childhood. It has that vibe
Starting university today. I was, and still am, very anxious about. But Petu uploading a tryndamere vid just made my day *100x* better
The intro alone is worth a like, subscribe and share. All hail River Shen
