One 💎I got from one of @bossiocuts old tutorials that jus always stuck with me as a beginning barber was, “never put your center guideline in with point-cutting” 😄 jus in case anybody out there learning done that like I have before😂😂💈💎💯 Awesome tutorial bro 🔥🔥🔥
Nice texture technique and looks great on him it does go with the shape of his head and that’s all our goals 😅 for our clients 😅always watching your videos and nothing but 💎💎💎💎💎💎💎🙏😎💈💰💴😤
Hey Sean great video as always! I was wondering if you would ever make a video on guard skipping as I have recently got the old school nr 1 guard and it has helped me with fading quite a lot. Was hoping I could see a video from you on it what professionals think about it and how to use it the best way. Thanks!
Hey man. Any chance can get a tutorial on cutting Afro/tight curly hair on the top without the guards. All I ever see is people doing the sides and line ups and never the actual top thank you great content 👍
@@Seancutshair Appreciate you getting back to me! I have very thick Indian hair; I went crazy with the thinning scissors and it went from a thick ball of hair to a frizzy ball of hair 😂 To get that choppy/dishevelled look I guess I’d need 45 degree point cutting instead right?
You are such a blessing! Just as I was looking to learn this skill you upload just the video that I need! Thanks🙏 Gotta be honest, I will need to practice this skill a lot because at the moment I look like an insecure snail in the mirror 😂
I know this is kinda random but what does your shop use to read cards, and what percent do they take. The one we use takes 10% on top of 4% that they charge our clients
More shear work for sure!!! To many barbers sleeping on sheers these days!!!
You got it 👌🏻
Need more shear work videos!your videos are the best bro💈💯
I’ll keep ‘em comin!
Best shear work out of all the TH-cam barbers

Great video and helpful for beginners a styling video on different cuts would be great
Thanks Sean
I’d like to do a styling video just hard to put together
Great video. Thanks from Scotland.
Welcome! Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
white cape makes a huge difference!!
I don’t mind to look silly as long as it helps!!!

If I get somebody I’ll record it! My guy @cutsbycoast definitely had a video or two of shaping an Afro you should check out.
Excited for this 👌
It’s a good one!
Me Too! Cant wait!

Hey Sean, do you get towel service at your shop or do you/your barbers wash their own towels? I’m talking about towels you might use for hot towels
They was they’re own. We have a washer and dryer
@@Seancutshair nice!
Great job!
Looks great !
ive seen s craft blends using a clipper and smash down on the hair ? how much of a difference is the sears to a clipper while using this method
I guess technically it’s doing a similar thing but scissors are going to be more precise
What’s the difference with texturising hair using this method vs thinning scissors?
It takes more than a comment to explain but this shows more visible texture where thinners are just removing weight and bulk
Seems simpler than than the straight cut that I’d be terrified to do 😅
My brothers🙏 Can you please list me some cordless clippers which can also be used pluged in, while charging. For example the MagicClip
I think everything cordless can be used plugged in. I don’t ever have the need though so can’t tell you for sure
if i zero gap my clippers will the measurements of the lever taper change or remain the same
Change ever so slightly
Do you point cut to get rid of straight hair and to add texture

It takes a while but just slow down and start to build that muscle memory and you’ll have it down before you know it!

We don’t take cards. Barbers take Venmo cash app on their own, or we take cash
Are your shears with swivel???
Thanks ...
Welcome!
nice
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
How do you know when the client wants texture ?
Depending on the style or if they ask for it
@@Seancutshair okay thanks . Can you do an expo in San Diego ? That would be lit
🔥🔥🔥

A little hard to see the angle that you had with the scissors but overall good explanation.
Thanks for the feedback Bruce 👌🏻
