I was a big fan of boxing through the 90s to 00s. But it was getting so stale. Then I saw this man's first fight in the ufc and fell in love with the sport. He's a one in a million person. @@heveyweightheveyweight5399 Jon Jones was the first time seeing someone so dominant I’ll give you that but khabib was not exciting to watch no matter what I enjoy good grappling here and there but there was no technique on the feet always was leaving his chin open. Conor made you buy PPV’s no matter what his fights were always exciting no one can talk trash the way he does and back it up that reign he had was one of the best the ufc has seen.

Hopefully Connor rewatches his old fights and remembers what it was like when he was lose on his feet , throwing angles with heels, kicks, punches etc instead of just being a flat footed boxer like he has been since the Floyd fight lol. You'd think this would have atleast a million views by now. Goes to show how much the MMA fans don't care about Conor as much. I consider myself a hardcore MMA fan and admit that Conor's rise in the featherweight division, then fighting Nate Diaz the the peak of his career. Even the impromptu press conference with Diaz was a huge, and exciting like a main event fight lol. No one was really talking and acting like Conor, and then backing it up. Now that exciting feeling gone now and when Conor talks smack, no one believes him, or chalk it up to his drug use. I bet the PPV numbers for his next fight with chandler won't be that great. He needs to have a crazy performance with a KO like Holloway did to reignite his popularity. Conor needs that big win first before any of the MMA fans will start showing big interest again. But that insane hungry, determined Conor is long gone now. The Conor where he was excited to win a 50g bonus. Nowadays 50k is pocket change for the guy.
This channels engagement is nearly dead. All of the recent videos they post hardly touch 10k views. This video is doing good. You can check out the official ufc channel where the posted Conor's fight marathon about a month ago, it has nearly 8Million views.
TH-cam or any other social media views/engagement don't mean shit when the fight sells. UFC 303 has currently surpassed 20Million dollar gate. 1st for the UFC and there's still a month left for the fight. You can complain about the tickets being too pricy but a star like McGregor not only bring in the fight fans, he also brings the celebrities come and watch him fight. Conor is still a super star in global combat sports.
