Thoroughly enjoyed Subhashreeji. I am 74+ and my husband 79+ both of us are grand niece, avid music/drama/cinema lovers from 1951/1946, and grand niece and nephew of Honourable Late Shri F.G. Natesa Iyer. Thanks to this interview, QFRs, Ragamalikas, and several other TV Programmes (esp. Hariyudan Nan), we relive and enjoy all your stated experiences and explanations. People like us are watching qfr only to listen to her insights about the song. She has changed the way we look at a song and she has created huge respect for all the musicians of yesteryears.
Her "boring coments" are aimed at making people listen to a song in way that makes them understand and appreciate the creativity of the composer AND the role of the musicians in bringing that creativity to life.
Ilayaraja music is great. But kannadasan didn't write more lyrics for his music. Hence longevity of his songs were lesser
