@@2ndheirofkyuogama64 It has been written in Ishwar Gita, also known as Shiva Gita. In this Gita, Shiva is the God who in answering and Ram is devotee who is asking question, just like Arjuna. And when Shiva Gita happened, it was many lakhs of years for Krishna-leela to even begin.
Besides it has also been written in Ashavakra Gita, Avadhut Gita, Guru Gita nd many other texts. Probably even in Indra Gita.

Correct prabhuji. If you want lord vishnu's mercy and love you need to respect lord shiv, if you want lord shiva's mercy and love you need to respect lord narayan. Hari is shiv and shiv is hari.

I am a Ramanandi Vaishanava and I consider Mahadev equivalent to Bhagwan Vishnu. Only the fact the Vishnu is my ishta so I am more close to him but this doesn't mean that Shiva is a demi God. Shree Ram in ramcharitmanas says that whosoever draws a comparison between him and Mahadev is a ghor paapi and if such a man calls him my bhakt, I don't even like that person in my dreams. [शिव द्रोही मम दास कहावा, सो नर मोहि सपनेहुँ नहिं भावा’]
Bhagwan further says, संकर बिमुख भगति चह मोरी। सो नारकी मूढ़ मति थोरी, which means that a man who speaks against Shiv jee and wants my bhakt, such a man dwells in hell and he alp-buddhi (a fool) and will certainly go to नरक despite being my bhakt.
Even Goswami jee, who is a pranam vaishnav, his granth has signature of bhagwan Shambhu which says, "Satyam Shivam Sundaram."
Also, only a fool who is devoid of internal bhakti can create a bifurcation between Hari and Hara. (Hari-Har ninda sunahi je kaana, hoye paap go-ghaat samana, which means one who listens ninda of Vishnu ji or Shiv ji, that person gets a punishment equivalent to a man who slaughters Gau mata).
Also, people please refrain from Vaishnav Ninda. Vaishanav Ninda doesn't mean ninda of those who worship Vishnu jee, rather any person who is bhakt of bhagwan. Shiv jee is a param-vaishnavacharya and Shiv jee was Ishta of bhagwan Shri Ram.

The Samhitas, which are the oldest layer of text in Vedas, enumerate 33 devas, either 11 each for the three worlds, or as 12 Adityas, 11 Rudras, 8 Vasus, and 2 Ashvins in the Brahmanas layer of Vedic texts.
The 33 are:
Eight Vasus (deities of material elements) - Dyauṣ "Sky", Pṛthivī "Earth", Vāyu "Wind", Agni "Fire", Nakṣatra "Stars", Varuṇa "Water", Sūrya "Sun", Chandra "Moon"
Twelve Adityas (personified deities) - Vishnu, Aryaman, Indra (Śakra), Tvāṣṭṛ, Varuṇa, Bhaga, Savitṛ, Vivasvat, Aṃśa, Mitra, Pūṣan, Dakṣa (This list sometimes varies in particulars)

"[Lord Vishnu said]: O goddess, this my body is

non-existence; and without beginning or end. It is pure
consciousness, has acquired luster, is beautiful due to
great joy, is the form of the Shiva, can be known only
through the unity with the self, and this is what is told in
the Gita".
Now Lord Vishnu in above verse says that his form is
not real and is form is actually the form of Shiva.

Reference please. Srimad Bhagavatam says vaishnavanam yatha shambhu (12.13.16), that Lord Shiva is the greatest vaishnava. Please provide reference for your statements.

The reason Krishna being called the supreme God by ISKCON is: Gita says Krishna is the supreme god. However there is exactly one God. So Shiv and Vishnu are the same. So let Krishna devotees (such as ISKCON) people worship Krishna and let Shiv devotees worship Shiv. It is not meaningful to have fight between Shiv devotees and Krishna devotees.
Worshippers of Krsna never disrespect lord Shiva, rather they themselves also worship lord Shiva, and always seek his blessings. There is no point in fighting because if someone will actually study the scriptures, they can see how the relationship between Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva is so loving and sweet. None of them will be pleased if we try to fight over who is better. It is good to read the scriptures and understand the truth. One who reads nicely, will never have this fighting mentality

Shiva is beginning and end of this universe.. This universe is born from cosmic dance of Shiva... That's why one foreign country research lab has put shiva natraja murthy in it..
Shivling represents whole universe.. That upper part is Shiva and expanding part is Prakriti (parvati).. That's why we apply only Chandan on upper part and at end of expansion part we apply haldi kumkum saying parvati stays there.. That's why only half parikrama to be done for shivling while for other Hindu God's we do full parikrama..
Out of nothingness universe came out Big Bang Theory, that nothingness is Shiva and that material aspects of universe is prakriti... That damru represents sound vibration happened from which universe came out .. That trishul represents satva rajas tamas which is prevalent all over universe, even inside us in different proportions..
That's why we should keep shivling cool otherwise instead of expansion, it will lead to destruction of universe which we call rudra avatar of Shiva..
That's why trishul is also shown in Mahakali hands, cuz Shiva and shakti together make up this universe..

Shiv and Hari are one and same. There are several legends to prove that. Advaita Vendanta says everything is one. Iskcon Theories are just rigid. Even Isckon Does Not Recognise Lord Ram as Supreme. Ram Naam Satya.
Lord Ramacandra is accepted as an incarnation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and in many temples (even In ISKCON) Lord Rama is worshipped in the main alter along with Krsna. So how can they not accept Ramacandra as God?
I have Been 6 year in isckon I never seen someone who sad lord ramchandra is not Godhead even lord kriahna and Lord ram is non different only the difference is lord ramchandra is mariyada Pursottam and Lord Krishna is Leela pursottam
