This game looks alright. Generic but OK. The graphics are not too bad. I probably won't pick this up as turn bases JRPG's are not overly my type of game but a solid analysis none-the-less
Thank you for being so honest with your review. I must say I used to fan girl over this game last year and was waiting so long for it to be released, but now it has done and I’ve seen this review, I never realised how underwhelming this game really is.
I like how you pretty much finished the review with that footage of a summon attack, because nothing illustrates the point about underwhelming visuals better than their summon animations. When they released their Gameplay Trailer online, I remember looking at the summons in particular and thinking, "... wait, is that it?" These are supposed to be super powerful, flashy, epic moments and all they could muster up was stiff, barely animated character models and a swooshy background? The enemies that take the damage just have numbers spring off their head too - not even a hitstun animation. Just disappointing. I know the team is a small indie group, but pretty much every other indie tactical RPG lately has been better than that. Othercide, Fae Tactics, Grand Guilds, Children of Zodiarc, Phoenix Point, Shadow Tactics, Super Dungeon Tactics, Sword Legacy Omen, etc. A lot of those look _fantastic_ and ToA... just kinda bums me out by comparison :P It's real bland; you're absolutely right about that. I'll definitely give it a punt unless I see it on sale then. I've got enough of those to blow through anyway... I really should get back to Othercide and Children of Zodiarc...

Thanks as always Simoss! Glad you found the review helpful.
They will probably patch minor annoyances such as slow battle.

Not a problem Brandon we will always give an honest opinion!
So it’s just another JRPG tactics game? Basically what I expected so I’m fine with it.
What PC Japanese SRPGs would you recommend?
Banner of the Maid is awesome be sure to check that out!
2:00 slow and by the numbers eh
I saw this game beign advertised on reddit so much, I should have known it would be a disappointment. Thanks for reviewing it.

I agree with you Barry! The special attack animations were very underwhelming. Well, actually the graphical presentation in general was.
