One flaw with jadis, even those 5 figure models, is that the 24k gold plating is impermanent. Older sets have their golden shine faded out after 5 years, especially at touch points that are corroded by finger sweat. This imparts a worn out and scruffy look to the sets. Jadis should spray a layer of clear acrylic on gold surfaces to preserve the golden shine.
I'm using a ten yr old Orch Reference with tone controls. I substituted the stock ecc83 with Brimar 6060 (ecc81) and its a different amp with transparent 3D holographic imagin
This is a choice , class B has the punch and the power more so than class AB.......to drive those modern low impedance, current hungry speakers that NEED a kick in the ass.... There's allways some bias even in class B.

Very beautiful unit! But I probably couldn't justify the cost unfortunately.
It's too expensive new, but maybe, just maybe, second hand it could become affordable if you can find one. I bought this personal unit second hand ✋😁
