These are the guns that have that legendary coat painted on, the fake orange gold that aren't worth the ammo they use. This is a list of guns to avoid but which legendaries do you think are simply misunderstood?
i dont think any should change rarity because then gearbox will forget about them and never buff them

Spartan, if you want please make a tutorial of how to use the save editors to buff guns! It is very simple. Basically, if the gun has a part that increases its damage, you can infinitly insert it on a gun to buff it. I like doing this to something like the cutsman, to buff them to be strong, which is a lot of fun

yeah i was like wtf is he on about ? :D both of them are great, especialy on flak
Lucian's Call is fun on mobs, particularly the cryo version, but it's useless on bosses, at least M11. Even with the fire version, Joey Violet or whatever he's called is 10 minutes plus of just holding the trigger and keeping it pointed at his head. Never have to reload, never have to care about the adds. But it goes through 4 of those big joeys before it gets the job done. That's over 5000 rounds fired. Same with that stag boss whoever it was, and the Capt Haunt.
Rowan's Call, with 2.5x the damage of the Lucian's Call, is what I use now. Harder to keep on target, and the smaller clip means it runs out more often, but at least it gets the job done faster. Still not useful for bosses. But fun for everything before them.
@@user-AdamSmith tbh i feel like it's fine that some weapons are only good for either mobbing or bossing, it sort of gives them personality and makes them more enjoyable for me, and it avoids having too many weapons that can just tear through everything without effort. That way you have to at least change weapons depending on what you're doing

Screw that fix the goddamn game purple and blues are next to useless even on Mayhem that they're higher on some legendaries aren't worth s*** and I love some of the purple and blue weapons they're just not worth it anymore the whole games unbalanced
@@darthnecrosaberjacobrandal4247 1. Most purples are fine. Blues (w/o red text) are not supposed to work on mayhem levels since it's end game activity.
2. Red text purples and blues to need anoitments (idk about buffs since unfortunately that's not what they're for, I'd love to use the ice queen for example)
3. The game is unbalanced indeed, like all bl games. They're focusing on things but adding power creep all the time, we need to be patient given how well theyre doing with the hotfixes and patches.
@@STALKER777LK purples should let you kill a boss in a 10 min not an hour and legendary should not be weaker than purple otherwise it wouldn't make sense to let them be legendary.
Considering how it drops all over the place all the time, it feels like everything in the game is a dedicated drop source for the Malek’s Bane 😂
Perhaps the entire game is its dedicated drop source and it simply has a higher world drop chance than other legendaries?
Gearbox destroyed the Crossroads. It has never recovered
at that moment it was a necessary nerf.
But after the mayhem scaling situation, it does deserve to get its 4th projectile back
the accuracy does not need to be reverted tho

If we are going to do more the damage needs to be buffed since the new scaling is gross. I just dont know if doubling is smart since night hawking is a consistent damage gun and the crossroads is a burst damage gun. But I see where you come from.
The crossroads was my 2nd ever legendary but only ever got to play with the nerfed version.

I think about 95% of them shouldn't be legendaries
I'm suprised that the Quadomizer or the Chandelier didn't even make into the list. That E-Tech shotgun nerf from a while ago really effected the Chandelier and ruined it.
You're right the Quadomizer is terrible, so bad that it deserves its own countdown

You forgot the Alchemist. It also kills you if you shoot it and it does absolutely horrible damage itself. Moze can use it with her splash damage bonuses, but she can make almost anything that has splash work that way, so its not really a hight bar to get over.
Use it on Moze with the transformer and it'll recharge your shield instead of hurt you.
Will it nuke her if she's using her skag den/green monster though - because Alchemist COULD be useful then since it does splash and is an AR with a high fire rate/mag size.
I wonder if Frozen Devil is a reference to Mei from Overwatch. The gun has two firing modes, a beam of ice and an ice dart and the name, Mei has been a meme forever, referred to as 'The Devil' because of the contrast between her cuteness and ability to really ruin a player's day.

@@heythere4858 The re-roll machine coming this 8 will allow it to get annointments as well as the other unannointed weapons like the seventh sense, linc and Reynah.
@@luckylunch3256 Are you sure we can reroll an anoint on these weapons ? I say you can only change an existing one not add one to a weapon but i hope i'm wrong.

@@musichowl yeah, they did, but good luck finding one. Because I hear that even on mayhem 10 there's still only A CHANCE for it to drop with an anoint. So far, I haven't come across one yet

I've always liked the Woodblocker myself. The ammo consumption is easy to counter; I always have a cutpurse equipped on most characters or on Moze I use an ammo regen build. You can get it with up to 142% crit damage which really gives it some power.
Having the Rowan's Call as an Honorable Mention sure didn't age like milk

I love the crossroads when I got it during the first story playthrough but its sad to see the DPS on it ain't enough
I think all of the legendary weapons should get a huge buff and lower the drop rate. Im bummed that there are even legendary weapons that are worse then purple weapons.
The Binary Operator actually one-shots enemies that have 50,000 or less health, so it isn't a weapon that should be used mid or late game, but early game maybe.
But will it roll with that damage at lower levels? And are you really going to take this over any other op arms race legendary that you may get?
I'm sure Zane could make a pool noodle work better than he can the malaks bane before commitment was given a cap

The TK's Wave has gotten better with the damage buff. But the issue it suffers from now is hit reg. Like i'll run up to a slow fat boss and watch all the pellets phase through it. When the pellets do connect they do a decent chunk of damage.

Yeah, absolutely. Whenever i've used T.Ks Wave, i've always used it up close and personal because any further away and it doesn't do anything at all

you might need to remake this list or do a part 2 when you try the vault card weapons. lack luster would be a generous description of them. Be a shame to not take the oppertunity to use the word Abysmal to describe them tho.

The thing that really shows how much the Malak's Bane sucks is that you cannot make it work in Arms Race. Like, I've had several items from this list drop in Arms Race and they just tear through it since the scaling is a lot less agressive, like the Wave just straight-up one-shots most mobs there. The Malak's Bane on the other hand... nah, you're better picking up a random blue sniper or something simular.
Marak's Bane is the first legendary I got in the game. Didn't realize it is a bad weapon at that time.
Lucian's and Jericho were very useful to me with Fl4k crit build, but they lost their value very quickly tho

Im currently using a corrosive crossroads on zane and it isn’t performing too terribly. Certainly it isn’t a Kaoson or plasma coil but comparing it to those is a bit much… it isnt unusable but there are definitely better options
Surprised to see some of these over ASMD, Magnificent, Superball, Unforgiven, Kill-o the Wisp, or Phebert
I feel like the gimmick weapons were a lot easier to have fun with in BL2 and Pre-Sequel
Also I'm still a HUGE fan of the Rowan's Call on Amara at least
Even after the fix for sniper rifle drops the bane still drops anywhere and everywhere. It dropped 5 times in a row just toady on graveward.
I love the TK's Wave/Tidal Wave on Amara, her CC capabilities really lend a lot to shore up it's shortcomings, plus she can crank accuracy to really tighten it's grouping and Heavy Rain does a lot to extend it's range and further increase accuracy.
I tried it a bunch could not get it to work, now on Slaughter 3000 when they come out of drop ship it works so does Cutsman, lot if weapons seem situational....
Really good video, but there are some misconceptions about the NARP and hyperion snipers in general.
1) Hyperion snipers are reliable but need you to be good at sniping and you need to specifically build around their strenghts;
2) The NARP works nothing like the woodblocker, which after the buff is just ok, instead of the "omg its bad" misconception;
3) The NARP is a great gun, you need to build reload speed and mag size to keep that 10 bullets in the mag for the +200% dmg, fire rate, handling and accuracy bonus. (an amplify shield helps to start the damage snowballing theyre so good at).
I think in the Narps place should have been Tankman Shield.

But my dude mentioned the skin, the place and was using it, he didn't confuse them.
That said, the tankman however is kinda bad since the effect is like a "reverse NARP", and it doesnt work well with hyperion snipers...
We needed a list of the worst to change it up.

I truly don’t understand Gearbox.
A gun like the Crossroads, Rowan’s Call or Lucians Call have been fan favourites. But Gearbox hasn’t (truly) addressed them to make them viable.
They’ll buff a gun like the Hellwalker and just make it god tier, while other guns buffs don’t even make them worthwhile at Mayhem 5.
It’s almost like they’re stubborn and just childishly don’t want to admit their game has flaws.
Jericho in mortar modw with Infernal Wish doubles all projectiles, so you can fire it twice and get 16 mortar shells. It's quite fun, but not insane damage. It will wipe out the entire area though.
The pain is power/ embrace the pain aren’t bad weapons, but putting them on the list isn’t fair especially when you realize you can pair it with an embers blaze to reduce the burn damage to yourself by around 84%, the polybius projectiles deal splash making it better on moze than amara and it should be used like a long muskets reload effect in where you use the leg turrets than the actual weapon, hellfire is still better than the boomer, the creeping death is meant to be used as a traditional tediore or you shoot the ground and reload if the reload hits a target the bombs will home on the target and blow up at once
The Rowan's Call Is one of the best guns right now.

Tbh. the Polybius might still be bad, BUT you can make it work. I have one on my Radiation Flak build, and it becomes a pretty good mobbing weapon. It might not be Hellwalker or Facepuncher level, but it is possible. But you need a lot of preparation.
Urad radiation Polybius, Elemental projector deathless with radiation damage as passive, Grenade thrown anointed Pipe Bomb, Red Fang with weapon damage and shotgun damage passives and the 20% damage bonus from Gamma Burst.
Without the elemental projector and the gamma burst bonus its still as bad, as you might expect from a Polybius.
Rowan's and Lucian's calls have had massive buffs.
I had a lucians call that carried me through 12 chapters
I use an incendiary Rowan's Call with Moze and it absolutely RIPS. It can be good with the right build
I've got some of these "legendary" that I don't use, the Jericho has dropped for me that didn't have any element.
So surprised the night Hawkin didn’t make the list. Used to be my favorite gun and has been shit since damn near since m4 first came out
The Rowans call on my armara build will kill badass enemies in about 5 shots with crits. It's definitely a gun that only works with a build, but it does work then it shreds
Nah, it got a buff sometime after the video was made, so now it's one of the best assault rifles in the game and is great on all Vault Hunters
Bane should be tied more intergrally into bl3. Beat a boss or raid or whatever and you get an achievement. Or overbuff the Bane into absurdity and then challenges that say "The easy way out" or something.
Gearbox nerfs popular builds in the first place, but be reluctant to buff the legendary trash at players' fingertips.

As a veteran of borderlands (been playing it since the first) all I can say is look at what they did to my boy . In bl1 the dot stacked and wrecked everything , in bl2 it did okay but most guns did okay without slag.

@@jakecard981 between pc , ps3 and ps4 I got close to 20k hours invested in the series played far too much back in the day not as much now play maybe 2-4 hours a day farming gear most of my characters are at 60 still with the exception of my amara.
"Compare to the plasma coil". Yes, compared to one of the most absurdly, disgustingly broken weapons in the entire series, matching even many modded guns in its ability to make any fight trivial regardless of build, health type, etc, 99.99999% of all gear and skills are bad.

Frozen Devil’s combat loop is that you freeze them with the laser, and then crit them with the spike. Still sucks tho lol

If you're amara, you could use unweave the rainbow to buff youre damage by about 500% on frozen enemies, and use a phase zerker to stack violent tapestry, get insane status effect chance, and it is fun for mobbing

Most of ya'll REALLY don't remember how good the Crossroads was. It was amazing. I remember having one in incendiary with next two mags radiation. Woah. Man it was sooooo good.
Nice vid, but would like to disagree :P Hellfire(almost as good as Boomer) n Crossroad 50/150 rad anoint work very well with Moze, Jericho also 50/150 in mortar mode is kool too. Tunguska is way worse. Personally i have more problems with Tediore and Cov weapons. (Diddle, Smart XXL, Pain, Stauros' Burn etc.)
That tk wave needs to be pushed to the hundreds of thousands per pellet at this point. I really just feel bad for it.

You’re using the Creeping Death wrong. It got a buff recently. And don’t directly shoot the target. Shoot the ground several times then reload directly at them.
How is the superball not on this list? Or does it have a secret use?
My favorite guns are the really bad ones because it's just fun running around with a meme cannon.
I'm not a big player, I only play when going to a friend's house. Yesterday I went there. We played for hours, and we were trying to build something that could take on the maliwan takedown (not even true takedown, we're not even close to that). We killed just about every boss in the game for variety. Shit drops everywhere. Malak everywhere. We don't know tier lists or anything but that shit dropped EVERYWHERE and we knew from simple damage comparison it was shit.

I hate the maleks bane because it reminds me I have to wait for Halloween to get the stalker, and I had to farm the phoenix for an atom balm deathless, guess how many maleks banes he dropped? At one point he dropped 2 of them and I quit farming.

Lucian's Call is really terrible now, which is very sad. I got one in the base game on my first playthrough and it was badass. On M10 right now they're nigh-useless.
Malak's Bane is halfway decent on Arms Race but that's about it
this list didnt age well after TKs wave got a buff that makes it stronger than Hellwalker. Also Rowan and Lucians are now top tier
The hellfire makes me sad, it looks cool but is so bad and has always been horrible
