    I feel like Lego might be referring to it as “The clone wars” as more of the event/war itself rather than the actual show. I’m definitely up for seeing more clone wars sets that don’t just appear in the show.

    • @JangoSkett
      @JangoSkett 2 ปีที่แล้ว +35

      I agree, but there’s Lowkey no point in doing that as there’s still hundreds of clone wars sets they could make.

That way they can make clone legions and all these wonderful figs we’ve had so far without worrying about doing two different designs. Yup. Bought mine the other day, and I found that out the hard way. Luckily, the fix is simple. Sticking a plate version of those 4x4 turntable bricks w/pin hole between them and the hull of the tank gives them enough friction to stay up.

      @@black_hole_man444You’re welcome. I will say though, I’m very curious myself how it passed quality control. This set has a lot of beginner mistakes that I would expect of 2008 and 2009 The Clone Wars sets, not a 2022 set, Star Wars or otherwise. And here I was, thinking we’d moved past the era of rookie mistakes like not accounting for overly low friction with certain pieces, making a door on the back that always wants to fall off rather than making a door that actually stays on, and not coming up with literally ANY way of securing the antennas, rather just slapping them in the stud holes of 1x3 modified tiles w/stud. Apparently, I thought wrong.

    • @black_hole_man444
      @black_hole_man444 ปีที่แล้ว

      I completely agree. I also think Lego could have come up with a solution for the rounded tiles on top because they are so easy to break of.

    The clones in the set are from Legends, the old canon, and LEGO probably took inspiration from Hasbro, not realizing that the 187th aren’t from the new Disney Canon, and if they did, they probably reckoned the old ones would sell better. That’s just my two-cents.

    This is a new issue because my first fighter tank didn't have this problem, but Lego must have modified the round 4x4 brick for the guns because mine are now floppy. There is no tension between the technic pin and the mounted cannon. I think Lego modified the round 4x4 and forgot how it's original design was integral to the function of this tank's cannons.
