Day in the Life of a research scientist | laboratory experiments, virus research, data analysis

Hello friends! I hope you liked this video and learned more about what a typical day is like as a research scientist! Feel free to ask me anything, I'll try my best to answer them!
My rotation at this facility was only 5 weeks. At first, I thought it was impossible to finish a meaningful, productive research in such as short time. You know, a lot of research takes years, even decades to be done. Surprisingly, with the guidance of my PI, I was able to complete the necessary experiments in the first 3 weeks and finished writing the paper at the end. It was a wonderful time in my life. During the first 2 weeks, my data did not provide anything numerical for me to analyze. I was extremely disappointed and worried if I was failing. It was my PI who encouraged me and helped me change perspective. Even when I was presenting the result to the lab members, I was so nervous that I started talking in the way that only makes sense to people with prior knowledge. My PI did a lot of followup questions to clear things up XD.
Anyway, if you are still reading this, you have what it takes to be a researcher hahahahaha I appreciate your patience!
