Just got mine 2 days ago. It was a slightly foggy night when I tested it out. It illuminated everything. Small, made out of metal and insanely bright, this is a fantastic flashlight for the money. The strobe is very disorienting even when it isn't pointed at you.
I have the complete set of E7 but I just clip it on my sling bag at my chest & baton 4 on my cap. The flood from E7 suits me to illuminate what is in front of me while the throw of baton 4 for me to look around. Great combo. Wurkkos Ts10 too
cool review.. i got mine and i really like it.. i bought the extended tube so i can also use my 18650s an awesome flood light just over 9cm with 18650 battery 👍.. you can also get a head strap for it as well as a sensor for hand free use.. 😊
Extension tube you say?! To the internet! I think I'll probably get the tube and strap, but after some experience with a gesture controlled headlight, it isn't for me :p Thanks for watching!
Have you noticed any problems with the battery charge? Whenever I charge it completely via usb-c cable attached to my laptop it seems to be empty just after couple of days without me even using it...
I haven't had any abnormal drain myself, and that fast is very unusual. If it's that severe then honestly I'd hit the warranty first, you should get useable charge for far longer even with parasitic drain. If you don't want to jump to warranty, then try a different battery if possible (and that battery in a different light) and try a different charger. Realistically speaking charging from a laptop should be fine just slow, but it's worth trouble shooting all aspects of the power situation if you're interested. Hope that helps!
I caught this for just over 20 bucks (almost 30 now) I'm going to get one for every friend and family member when they are back to that price again. Best flashlight bargain I've ever found
No problem! When the light is already on triple click twice, the first will take you to strobe, then the second triple click will progress you to SOS. Hope that helps!
@@gearedforward I still use my H1 Nova and for me one of the best features was the clip. I am able to angle the torch to exactly how I need it but unfortunately Olight have abandoned this feature for a fixed clip. I also like the fact the clip on the H1 is reversible.
@secondchance6603 i love my H1 Nova, it says me through over a year of permanent night shifts. I use the Perun 2 mini now and it will rotate with the clip in the headband but I can't remember if it'll reverse, I doubt it though.
@@gearedforward hi and thank you for a fantastic review. Just have a quick question as I saw in the video you showed how to enter. Enter each mode except for this SOS mode. How do you enter the SOS mode please
Im not 100% sure as I don't personally have any flat tops in 18350, but the E7 uses a double spring contact, so I don't see why it wouldn't work if you wanted to supply your own battery.
What do you think of the Wuben E7? What other Wuben lights do you want me to review?
Looks like a winner and I'm digging it.
Overall, I've been really happy with it!

It's really impressive how both wide, and evenly lit the dual emitters give you a beam. Fantastic light for walking!

That's a great combo, I just got a sling bag and I think I'll try this out, thanks!
@@gearedforward your welcome. Sometimes I paired baton 4 with Ts10 on my cap too lol
@@smccarnage sometimes you just need to burn your way forwards, I fully support that lol

They have a headband now and an extension tube to use a 18650 battery.
Yeah I have the extension tube and will be getting the headband at some point. The headband should still be included in the box imo.
I wish you had compared the size next to. A Big Mac, im struggling to figure out how small it is
If that was my size comparison I'd struggle to go out and test them soon enough! But it's really small, any smaller and it's be awkward to operate.

That's an astounding price for such a great light! I'm looking to grab the headband and 18650 extension for it mine soon too.
i like it. picked one up 2 weeks ago and bought it's head band separately. both had coupons at the time.
Glad to hear a band for it exists! I couldn't find it when quickly checking last, still a shame it's not included though.
Sorry I heard you say there is an sos mode but I didn’t see how you entered the sos mode. How do you enter the sos mode please

@@gearedforward Yes sir!! Thank You Thank You!! I truly appreciate your help 👍👍
@@lawnmowerman2199 no problem, thanks for watching!
I think you're right about the headband option.
It's a confusing omission, I used an Olight H1 Nova for years as a headlamp and this would be fantastic in the same niche.

Love mine, but why is SOS only 200 lumens?
The only thing I can think of is extended run time for an emergency mode?
