So was just in a game, died early, spectated a Banshee and the dude 1 shot 5 mechs including a Marauder. Was Alpha striking only with x1 H-Gauss, x3 Large Laser, x5 Medium Laser. Heat hit about 60% after but was good to go for a second alpha when the gauss was ready. He was lining up CT shots too.
Is it just me, or at 10:22 (in the second match), is there a stealth light (Javelin, maybe?) right in front of Bara, at knife range? He passes to the left. That's where the low signal was coming from...
You can get this build up to 70+ kph with larger engine at the cost of TC and some HS, and so changing skilltree to keep it cool. I prefer to go this way, cause speed is a thing nowadays... But this build is really cool, I have fun pexing it. Thx for the good work and the energi Baradul.
I run tcomp 2's on all of my Rifleman IIC variants. It especially helps with crit with LPL's. Also, daily reminder that PGI should have increased the engine cap to 260 on all the base variants except for the 2 and A.
FINALLY a nice GR build with backup guns :) (No offense to your build choice but i was searching for a nice GR mech for a while and was just checking out the Riflemans IICs on Sale :D

Amazing job holding the line on the second game. It was such a metal grinder in that chokepoint, impacts and explosions everywhere.
Gauss ammo doesn't explode. Suggest heat sinks in the legs and ammo in the torso for max cooling if there is water. Just a small suggestion ...
I like my RFL-IIC-A with 2x LBX 20s, 4x Flamers, & a XL 280. Fast, frightening, and totally able to CQC brawl with the flamers.
2xLB10X, 4xERML is also super fun on this, with cooldown maxed out. Legend Killer IIC.
Addendum, I think an outtakes video would be cool. I was imagining all the rounds that you dont upload and what kind of jems might be hidden in them!

If this is a 2nd line 'Mech, would it have been reasonable to put points into mobility instead of survival to get you set up into locations faster?

You can get an additional skeletal density if you went down the center of survival instead of right side.
