I feel as though Day reaches a point of acceptance of his blindness at the end here, which is why he sees the beauty in the ending of the book. As long as the last things he sees are the things he loves, he can continue on with life. I think the more that he sees the world as it really is, the more likely he is to be open about his relationship with Mhok, finally forgive Night, and move forward into the future.
Here's my prediction for 3 next episode based on the novel. I hope P'Aof will change the ending though (since He already change some part of the novel in the series) . (SPOILER ALERT!!) Day's mom is angry because Mhok take Day to that mountain (dangerous place). Day finally tell his mom that He's already (completely) blind and He's happy because He can see what he want to see the most; the last twilight. After the arguing, Day's mom calm down. Mhok choose to quit from the job. Mom know their relationship. Day and Mhok continue their life as a boyfriend. One day, Day asking what Mhok's want to do next. Mhok said that finding another job is quite difficult because of his track records. Actually Singha, still offers Mhok the opportunity to become profesional chef. But he refuse because He can't leave Day behind. Mhok keep it as secret from Day. At the end of eps 10, Day's mom call Day and tell that Day get cornea donor. Eps11 Day get the eyes surgery. Mom, Night and Mhok are happy because Day can see again. Day have conversation with Mhok; eyes to eyes. Day know that Mhok get opportunity to study abroad as a chef, but he won't take that chance and leave Day behind. So Day said that he already can see and Mhok doesn't need to take care of him anymore. Day choose to broke up with him (by told him He is lying about the opportunity and using him as a reason to step back from the chance) and convinced Mhok to take that chance since Day already can see and live as a normal person. Mhok finally having to take the chance and going abroad. Day hug Mhok for the last time before they're separating away. Day made up his mind to keep memory of their love in his heart. Despite the separation, his feeling for Mhok won't change. After Mhok left, mom come and hug Day. She didn't ask anything. Day can't hold his tears. Day tried to pretend everything normal, but ended up crying. At the ending of episode 11, Day tell his mom that actually He still can't see. Episode 12 year pass, Day already accept his condition and continue his life as a blind person. He finish his college and open a bookstore. One Day, Mhok finished his study and come to Day's book store. He is asking about a book how to raise the gold fish. Day recognized him. Mhok trying to be boyfriend again with Day. Day still hesitating, Mhok trying to convinced Day. Finally Mhok tells Day everything happen after their break up (Mhok came to Day's mom and tell her about his feeling for Day won't change, and how his mom finally can forgive the dad, etc). Long story short they come back together again as a boyfriend. The end of episode 11 Day get call from hospital. They said that he get eyes donor (again). The end of eps 12. Day in his room, open up his eyes and he can see brighter after the surgery. But his eyes need to adapt. Mhok come and take Day to family party. At the party Night and Porjai announce that they're in a relationship. After the party, Mhok take Day to someplace. Day spend time with Mhok. They have conversation about what's actually Mee pursuing in Last Twilight. Is it actually the sight? Or is it actually a hope? After the conversation, Day look at Mhok's face. They're ended up kissing. Day doesn't care about the future. Maybe this is the end of pursuing the light. Die, Rebirth and saw things that never had before . He had seen everything he wanted to see, especially the look of love in Mhok's eyes.
I like ur prediction for episode 11 where Day broke up with Mhok, and then he actually couldn't see still... I think that would be more understandable and made more sense, than what they did at the end of episode 11 😅...
lol I wasn’t afraid to see the next episode but now I am. You think Mhok is going to break up with Day? Oh I hope not. I really don’t think he will. The giving him a good memory before he breaks up with him is something August would do. Mhok is good at taking care of Day and making his life better. And he knows it. I don’t see how Mhok would be convinced that breaking up with Day would be good for Day. And therefore I don’t think he’ll do it . Oh plz
But the novel did tell they're broke up and getting back together someday. I hope P'Aof change the plot from novel. Because I don't want to cry anymore
