I have one pdf and they are a totally different experience to colour compared to many other colouring book collections. I find that they are great for practicing line art colouring which I tend to practice daily. It is really worth getting one. I'm not sure what the paper is like, so I stuck to the pdf so I can print out a page on Neenah standard card stock. I am currently working on my second selection from book 5, the library scene which is adorable with the little mice reading the books at the outdoor library. The librarian is behind the counter wrapped in a wool shawl, lol.

yes!! I did love looking at all your finished pages. My fav is the Silence of the Lambs also. I am not familiar with that John Cusak movie but I watched Mike and Molly and Mike played Metallic for Molly on Valentines Day with his big boom box so that pic reminded me of that show!
This was an enjoyable tour through her books and you have done some beautiful pages. I have the Halloween one and love it. I am thinking about getting Nice Little Town 6 so I can color along with you in it this year.

Hi there! I use a variety of pencils, but mostly Prismacolor. I prefer to use an alcohol markers base when I can as it greatly cuts back the amount of blending I have to do later on.
Hi! Love your work! I own one NLT book five, but it is a pdf because I really want to avoid books with Amazon paper. Can you tell me about the paper texture in this book? Is it the typical Amazon paper, if so, I will continue to purchase the pdf, however, I just love colouring in books. Thanks in advance. I also struggle with what colours and how to colour the mushroom roofs are there certain colours that are safe and I should stick to? My go to medium is Prismacolor pencils.
Hi Karen. Yes, these books are printed on the Amazon paper. I find I enjoy the challenge of trying to which of my supplies will work on the paper, but totally understand those who print their own. Thankful that Tatiana has an Etsy shop where you can do just that. And as far as colors go, I just go with whatever I’m feeling for the page. I do find that looking at images on Pinterest is helpful in color choices, though. Thanks for watching!!
The paper is the standard create space paper. It is on the thinner side. She also has an Etsy shop so you could get the PDFs and print on the paper you like. I don’t have any problems working on the create space paper anymore. I’ve found a few good pencils and some blenders work wonders ☺️

I love her books but am continually frustrated trying to use my colored pencils with them. Faring the best with Artezas, but there's so much tooth to the paper it's hard to fill it all in. Do you find the lighter-colored alcohol marker base allows for better results with colored pencils? I love so many of these Amazon printed books but I can't stand the feel of pencil on this paper and I'm trying to find a workable technique so I can buy them all and not be frustrated! :)
