When I bought 8 acres in east Tennessee it was covered in several invasive plants. Japanese Honeysuckle, Chinese Privet, Autumn Olive, Multiflora Rose, Burning Bush, and Bradford Pear. Gallons of Roundup and many hours slashing and burning I have finally almost eradicated them. With invasives, mulching them won't help. You have to kill the root!
Yes mulching will not kill them but on a property this dense it is most effective to mulch and then it makes it way easier to come back and do a follow up herbicide treatment end of growing season and one more early spring when the invasives are the first thing that greens up.
Grrr.... that honeysuckle... makes my control hands twitch. My arch enemy - but fortunately the 299 and cat/fae mulcher like to turn it into little shreds.
The deer and other local wildlife will enjoy all that new open space. They are just like people, they will take the path of least resistance and they will still have plenty of space to hide.
You running the same exact machine and mulcher I am in Missouri and Arkansas and Georgia. Mine came from Murphy too. We really should compare experiences if you have time.
They make these 2 wedge diagonal blades w/sernaded teeth on top to help cut roots & dig up stumps if u hve room to attack from all four sides a 7min feet when u hve normal soil no rocks blocking your stabs. But if u had the power of wedging & cutting stabs u would real! hve something. By making the sides of cutting blades/long V bucket working opposite from each other. When 1 side in ground lifting the other side strokes/cuts & pressing down, then it goes back & forth some places harder ground more leverage pressing down.
at 5min of spend time just attacking from worst case 2 sides then u hve a wonderful fucking design, bc stumps love knocking tracts off, so less near stump or no stumps the wayyy better working in and around brush hard to see when left.
If teeth were inside a oval cheerios so spinning prt was two prts not just 1 prt the tooth or it hits every time, but if both parts were spinning then u hve the cutter tooth sure tajking some hit but only a fraction as much & most of all the rpm stays higher bc the cutting prt spin is the only spin that matters not the outer cheerio spinning prt, it just catches up.
36:showing; 5:26/27pm on Sunday work ethic, last secs of last mins of quilt/play, health real f-ing bad 15% battery on good day mostly bed ridden except to eat ot type or shit bad all over sore, newest not able to hardly stand up from pot swore right leg, repeated spasms/tightening out of the min blue.
It all depends on the job really, if its uneven ground or a property with a lot of rocks I will run carbides. If it's a job in someone's back yard or front yard and things need to be very clean and very fine mulch then I use knives. I will also sometimes run carbides on the outsides and knives on the inside.
The main open area is going to be a food plot, his plan is to till all of the mulch back into the soil with his tractor and then plant a cereal grain and clover mixture
Q supot essa máquina !!! You quero. Ganhar uma de 🎁 presente 🎁 e maravilhoso. Trabalho com essa. 🙌🙌🙌uau. Eu não tenho dieiro dola pra comprar uma . Exelente tralho. Parabéns 👦 amigo 👦 👍💎👍💎🙏🙏graçias obrigado .( Harigatou ) no sei digitar em inglês. 👎No sei no .
If the outer tooth was carbide & the lower tooth was just steel, u would get the best wear least cost & sharpening best of all, able to keep working even just 1/2 strength.
I would long bar that shit in 1/2 then 1/4 size pieces of the trunk, then drill thru base long 1/2" bit, so u can feed steel cable then grapple top & winch the wire u might need feed it thru hole 3 or 4 times so it doesn't break. After u hve pulled the worst bushes this call for bon fire seams chip short of mulching tank 30k lbs has meet its match.
Man if I had one of those machines I’d just go rippin & tearing down through the woods. That is if I wasn’t 84 years old. Great video. Thanks
Most professional and effective machine operation I’ve seen! 🇺🇸👍🙏😂

That is an impressive machine

Absolutely! Deer love the path of least resistance and new growth for browsing!
Love the video. Privet is awful yeah?
Privet definitely is pretty terrible!

Would love to sometime
I like cab mounted camera shots better

nice job on the video
When doing projects like that - do you ever encounter little critters running out from under the brush? Lol
Not so much, not a lot of animals live in honeysuckle. Birds are the main animal that use honeysuckle and they fly away long before I get there

Do you use all carbide or all teeth on you diamond mulcher ?

Nice work and holy Honeysuckle batman! What part of the country are you in?
We work out of Ohio
You need to carry around a banana for scale. You say it's about 16 inches thick, but how do I know that if you don't slap a banana next to it?
If the outer tooth was carbide & the lower tooth was just steel, u would get the best wear least cost & sharpening best of all, able to keep working even just 1/2 strength.
What state is this in?

You would need a Guide to get out of there
