I have a question about retrofitting for riads (just thinking about the recent earthquake - I am from Los Angeles and most of the older buildings are retrofitted because we have earthquakes also) - is that something one can get done in Morocco? One day I plan to buy a riad from you all!!! 🤞Thanks!!🥰
Sure you can retrofit in Marrakech. There are specialised companies here. And earthquakes are extremely rare in this part of Morocco. That was the biggest one for hundreds of years. People mostly retrofit in order to increase energy efficiency or to cure humidity issues.
